Good food, great loaded tots and egg rolls. Waitress was attentive. Good concise beer selection. Could use a little more character inside. Interestingly prices were actually more expensive than Highlands location (went yesterday)

The Ugly Dog Pub-Cashiers was a great place for a cold soda and an appetizer. Great outdoor restaurant with a dog friendly environment. Food was great! We had the Ugly Dog Guacamole, the Margherita Flat Bread and French fries. The Guacamole was delicious! It was fresh and served with crisp tortilla chips. The Margherita Flat bread was good and the French fries were good too! Service was good. Nice laid back place to hang out and enjoy good company. The only thing I wish was better was they had empty beer bottles in their flower beds.

My wife and I went to the Ugly Dog Pub for lunch. The decor and atmosphere was enjoyable. The service was very good and attentive. We got 2 local beers, a hamburger, and hot dog with onion rings. It was a very pleasant lunch. We will go there again.

Service was slow, but I get it- everyone is trying to get a Christmas tree this weekend. However, our waitress got my husband’s order wrong and ARGUED with him about what he ordered. She claimed he ordered the Reuben when he actually ordered the shame dog. We all heard it! Not only did we still get charged for the Reuben and the hotdog, which they did fix, but our food was room temp at best. They didn’t offer to comp any meal. My coffee cocktail was not hot, nor did they put the liquor in it. They gave my husband onion rings instead of tots, which would’ve been ok, except rings have a 3 dollar upcharge. Their food is pricey, which I don’t mind paying for good food, when it’s actually good! What added insult to injury, she didn’t remind us of the automatic 20% tip on a party of 8, which I know she isn’t obligated to do, I just consider it to be a courtesy. So after all of that, I added extra tip on a really crappy meal and experience. We won’t be back, like ever.

The food was excellent and the service was top notch. I highly recommend The Ugly Dog to eat. I got an hour down the road and stop for gas and realized I left my credit card behind. I called the restaurant and one of the servers was nice enough to mail my card to my house. Not too many places would do that. I’m very grateful to the employee. I won’t hesitate to stop again.

The highlight was the kitchen staff helping the servers. Don’t know his name but he was so friendly even though he was overwhelmed. We just got done cutting down our Christmas tree and found this spot on the way out of town. We were in no rush and waited just over an hour for a table. I worked off the wifi in the Hummer while the family shopped. Once seated it took some time to have a server take our order. Off menu of Chile cheese fries was accommodated, that was nice. My marble rye was soft and fresh on my Reuben sandwich. The chicken salad sandwich was meh. What we didn’t order immediately but had to try after seeing it pass by was the fried chicken appetizer. That was great. Overall food was good, service could not keep up with those that tried to be patient.
I would go back for the limited food choices but as you check in to get a table and find it’s over 30 minutes be prepared that the meal will take an equal amount of time to arrive at your table.

Went to see the Deep Shallow Band. The sound inside with a band was great.
They had a few non alcoholic options which is nice as not many places have this. I had the Mac and cheese bites (which I get every single time) So good. I also had a good cobb salad. The food here overall is pretty good!

This was the only restaurant opened the night we went for take out, so they were busy. The order was placed in the restaurant and we were told 20 minute wait. My husband went inside again and was told another 20 minute wait. 50 minutes from the time of ordering we got our food. When we arrived home the order was wrong. The lentil soup was a brown sludge that was mush, there were not tator tots in mine, the sandwich had a pink slime on the meat. My husband’s meal had no loaded tots and the burger was so hard. I can say I will not be going back. Being busy is no excuse for the service we received
