We LOVED this place!!! Everything about it was superb. I was with a party of 4 and all of our meals were delicious. One exclaimed that the ribs were the best they’ve every had and we’re from St. Louis Metro. Another loved, loved , loved the hog wings. The pulled pork was declared a winner and my twisted brussel sprouts and black and blue bison burger (plant and beef are also options) with no bun (gluten free available) and no blue cheese(dairy allergy). The twisted fries are among my all time favorites. Also, my jalapeno margarita and friend’s Boss Babe were tasty and flavorful. Music bingo was going on while we were there which we wish we would have known about it earlier because we definitely would have joined. We’re going back tomorrow for more food, dessert and country line dancing. Check out their activities in their Facebook page. We’ll be back tomorrow. I highly, highly recommend.

It just works.
Came past Twisted Fork by pure coincidence driving down the road and saw the parking lot full. I was a little unsure given the massive outdoor bar area with music loading up on stage and proximity to a motorcycle dealership. So glad we went in!
It’s very unassuming, being a converted garage into a massive restaurant. If you’re looking for a come as you are spot this is it.
Restaurant is super spacious, lots of staff, several bars, tvs, live music, and A LOT of staff.
Our server was so helpful, polite, and gave us lots of recommendations. I ordered the baby backs and I have to honestly say, perhaps the best ribs I’ve ever put in mouth. Kudos to their pit master cause I want a lesson. So moist , with just enough bite they hold their shape, no mush, and a subtle smokiness that doesn’t scream liquid smoke. The barbecue sauce perfectly caramelized too. Amazing!
The Twisted Fries need to find their way on to more menus in America. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, nicely seasoned, and just the right thickness.
Cole slaw is too flat for me , as I like it a little bit sweet. I added a little bit of Splenda and it too was fantastic.
The cookie skillet desert came boiling in a cast iron skillet. One of the butteriest chocolate chip cookie to ever hit my lips. Worth every calorie!
Bathrooms were very clean. It was only about 40% occupied as we were leaving and the noise was growing. This is purely conjecture but I imagine it’s pretty loud when full.
Overall very satisfied. Cant wait to finish my ribs as left overs as the portion size is huge. Staff were also so polite and courteous. Management should be very proud of their team.

You know I don’t pull punches, one dish was great, the other, meh!

The server was nice but my rating is based on the bar service, don’t serve rail booze to people who know what good booze taste like. Not cool.

My friends enjoyed the ambiance. Cute place.

Been here multiple times when visiting family. Always a good spot with live music. Indoor and large outdoor area for all group sizes. Friendly staff, cold drinks, good food. We will be back.

Great venue for live music. Cool stage. Onsite sound techs who do an incredible job. Food was nothing to brag about. We were told to sit wherever we wanted and someone would come take our drink order. Took over half an hour to be waited on. Had to go inside to find someone. She then said that we would have to have been seated by someone to be waited on. Kind of odd since we were told to pick our seats. We will definitely go back for more live music nights, but most likely will not order food again.

The Twisted Fork in Port Charlotte is hands-down one of the best spots in town! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. Our waitress, Charlene, went above and beyond—she was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.

Well-behaved Furry-friends are welcome here too!! We showed up with our rough-and-tumble Havanese, Pippa, and the staff went crazy for her! Dine on the fully covered patio and they’ll be treated to a water bowl and Live Music.

The food was outstanding! The Hog Wings were absolutely awesome—crispy, tender pork packed with flavor. The Smokey pulled pork sandwich with crispy onions was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and came in a generous portion that left us more than satisfied. You can tell they take pride in both quality and serving sizes here and their prices were very easy on the wallet.

Being right next to the Harley Davidson dealership just adds to the fun vibe of the place. Whether you’re local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop at The Twisted Fork—you won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be back!

I have been going to the Twisted Fork since about June when my family moved to Florida. We love the food and have came many times. The service and the atmosphere are amazing and we have had no complaints; However, the portion sizes for some items have change drastically and prices have not changed. My son got the kids Mac and Cheese with truffle tots like he always has and was very disappointed with the fact that it is so much smaller and the price of $9 is unchanged. I put pictures of the last time we ate there and his food today below so that you can see for yourself.

This was my second time. First time, I got a delicious burger.I have no notes on the burger. It was made perfect and it was delicious. The wedge fries were fantastic too. This time, I got chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken sandwich was very good! I only ate half. The service was very good both times. *My dad got the steak. He seemed happy with it.

Something has clearly changed at Twisted Fork, and not in a good way. The place we used to enjoy no longer exists.

My wife and I have been coming here since the restaurant opened. We have eaten here dozens of times over the years. It was never meant to be gourmet. What made it work was simple scratch-style food that was at least a step above chain fast food like McDonald’s or Domino’s Pizza.

That standard is gone.

Our recent visit was one of the worst restaurant experiences we have had in years.

I ordered fried shrimp with french fries. The fries arrived first. Then we waited more than 45 minutes for the shrimp. When I asked the server about it, the explanation was simply that they were busy and he ran away. No apology. No attempt to correct the situation.

The fries themselves were terrible. Most were burnt and overcooked, and the plate was mixed with tater tots that we never ordered nad burnt left over chucks for fried something!

When the shrimp finally arrived, they were essentially inedible. I forced down four pieces and left the rest. The product looked like small flat breaded disks with a tail attached. Roughly 80 percent of each piece was breading. The inside barely resembled shrimp at all. The texture was closer to squirted in paste than seafood.

Frankly, the quality was worse than frozen shrimp you would get at a low-end drive-through.

The most likely explanation is that management has abandoned the original concept and replaced it with cheap commodity food designed to maximize margins. The menu appears downgraded and the kitchen execution has collapsed.

If you want beer and live music, you might still enjoy the atmosphere.

If you care about food quality, avoid it.

First time I went I wasn’t impressed. The second time was much better. We got lemon pepper wings & the calzone roll up. It was very good. Bartender was very friendly as well
