Excellent service, the flavor blend a perfect harmony of spices. I love the Mango lassi drink, the lamb curry was amazing, the naan garlic bread to perfection, the rice wasgreat too and for the first time, I tried Indian street food fries, which it was hot but something different than usual fries. The owners, the cook and the cashier were very pleasant and I highly recommend their food. Get your order to stay or to go. Have a nice conversation while you wait. Nice parking area. #foodie #Delaware

The staff were very nice, and even offered a sample of a suggestion they believed I would prefer. They were absolutely right! The shrimp vindaloo was flavorful and spicy, the garlic naan was exactly what I wanted, and the galab jamun I tried was surprisingly tasty! Almost like a pancake, with a strong spiced flavor on top

I’ve eaten Indian food all over this great country, and The Twist Indian Grill is right there with the best that I’ve had. My go-to is Saag Paneer with Garlic Naan whenever I’m trying a new spot, and The Twist does not disappoint.

Between the curry and the samosas we tried, I was very happy with the food. To top it off, the owner came out from behind the counter to explain the unique format that the restaurant has. If you want a traditional curry with rice, you can get that, but that is just the surface of what they offer. Burritos, tacos, nachos and quesadillas filled with your favorite Indian ingredients are all available, served at the counter, Chipotle style. The menu is deceptively deep, and offers countless combinations to satisfy every appetite! Even the spice level is customizable from mild to extra spicy if you’re into that kind of thing 😉

If you are or ever were thinking about coming here, don’t think about it, just do it!!! From the outside this place gives you corporate restaurant vibes but when you walk in you’ll see it’s what you’d call a mom and pop shop as it’s just a Husband and wife, cooking comfort soul food from their culture, & then on the Storefront you have the most energetic Human being possible to help you decide between all of the wonderful delicious foods! So thank you Heather for adding to this hidden Gem . It was our first time and we didn’t know what we want and they were beyond patient and accommodating. Nonetheless Pictures do not do this place justice, The flavor is authentic, And if you’re still reading this, what are you waiting for? You need to be on your way ASAP!

As soon as I walked in the door my nose was captivated by a wonderful robust aromas with multiple layers.
It was my first time and I mentioned it to the gentleman behind the counter and he explained the menu without hesitation or me asking. It was a refreshing to see the Twist Indian Grill takes pride in each step of a customers experience.

(Note: he explained you can order it very mild if you don’t want very much heat spice level)

I ordered the Samosa Chaat (a popular Indian street food where crispy samosas are broken apart and loaded with a flavorful mix of spiced chickpea curry (chole), cooling yogurt, tangy tamarind chutney, spicy mint-coriander chutney, and crunchy garnishes like sev, onions, and cilantro)

Each ingredient complimented the others and add layers of depth to the dish. Lots of flavor and sodium level was perfect. I ordered it mild and it was the perfect heat level for me.

I also ordered the Chicken Butter Masala. It came with A flavorful Jasmine Rice with a hint of cardamom. Like the Samosa Chaat I ordered it mild. The Chicken Butter Masala coated my tongue with a velvety texture with a slight kick to it. As my teeth started to sink into the chicken it was so tender it melted on my tongue.

I also had a side of Garlic Naan. It was light and flaky with olive oil and fresh garlic. It had the perfect amount of garlic and sodium level.

I definitely recommend this place if you like food that is comparable to any of those Grandmas that have a gift for cooking, the wisdom and that extra dash of Love & Care they put into it.
It’s that GOOD.

The staff was very helpful right from the get go and answered all our questions about the menu. We got Chicken Tikka and Lamb Masala with garlic Naan. Every bite was incredible. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the masala had good spice, but the right kind of sweetness to the curry as well. White rice was amazing on its own. Mango Lassi was out of this world. All of the staff was fantastic our whole visit, food was brought to the table and we were checked on multiple times. Can’t say enough good things about this fusion restaurant, will definitely be back , and recommending to everyone

I had chance to visit this place while visiting Delaware. I’m completely satisfied with the food. Before going, I thought food will be average but it changed after having dinner over here. We have tried Butter Naan, Kaju Curry, Hakka Noodle and Rice Bowl. I’m completely satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food. Food is very delicious and amazing in taste. All the spice level as requested and staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Must try this Twist Indian Grill if you’re visiting Delaware
