We tried this place tonight and it did not disappoint!! Wow! The service, atmosphere, and the food were all fantastic. We sat at the pizza bar and were thoroughly entertained and impressed watching the talented staff operate flawlessly. Highly recommend. We will return soon!

They were pretty busy, so the service seemed to be dragging as we were outside and it was a tad chilly. However, we really did like our waitress, and she took good care of us. The food was fantastic, and we ordered a couple of nice cold beers. She took a few minutes to tell us about the history of the restaurant and encouraged us to go in and see the brick oven, which I did. A cook was shoving a huge pizza in there when I walked in, so it’s not just a show piece, they actually are using the brick oven! We enjoyed this place a lot. Not from here, just passing through, but we will be sure to stop in again on our way through! Thank you to the kind cook for the photo opp! 🙂

Divine portabello appetizer, divine! Pizza the best locally! They’re even so cool to allow half of one pizza and half of another to make it one pizza! Pricey, however, worth every single penny! So sorry, not sorry, Abbie was NOT an attentive waitress. More concerned about her friends, side work, etc than manning her income. Will not be served by her any more. Atmosphere was inviting, warm, and overall a very well established lil joint in PCola area! Will be back! Thank you for everything!

My husband and I have been coming here for over 15 years. The staff is amazing, attentive and always hard working. By far the best place to get a wood fired pizza. Today they had a new member of the staff making them and he delivered flawlessly. Keep up the good work as always guys. We continue to spread the word.

Finally after living here for 6 months I have found one of the best Pizza & Italian restaurants just blocks away from my home. The Tuscan Oven Pizzeria is the real deal, a step back in time, bringing back memories of my mother’s home cooking. Look no further for authentic Italian cuisine! Traveling from the opposite coast, we were craving pizza, so we asked the hotel staff for recommendations. Hands down, they raved about The Tuscan Oven Pizzeria.
We ordered two Abbondanza pizzas—one for us and one for the hotel staff.
Wow, it was so delicious! This one’s all about the meats: pepperoni, sausage, capicola ham, and bacon, layered over a soft, chewy wood-fired crust.
It’s a hearty, satisfying pizza.
If you’ve never been here, parking is limited, so timing your visit helps.

My husband recently placed a to-go order at The Tuscan Oven after it was recommended to us by a friend. Since we’re not from the area, we weren’t sure what it would be like, but we were pleasantly surprised. The wait time on a Saturday night was about 40 minutes, which we thought was very reasonable. When I arrived to pick up the order, I was greeted by a hostess (I believe her name was Laura or Lauren) who was a tiny little thing but truly outstanding. She managed several tasks at once—folding boxes, handing out orders, and answering phones—all with ease and a positive attitude. Despite being so busy, she remained kind, instantly asking how my day was while juggling all of her tasks, as well as respectful and incredibly hardworking. This young woman couldn’t have been more than 18, yet she carried herself with such maturity and work ethic. It was a great reminder that there is so much good in the younger generation. On top of that, the pizza was excellent and the restaurant itself was exquisite. Because of this young lady, along with the great food, we will gladly recommend The Tuscan Oven to others.

This local gem is absolutely worth the drive!
We started our meal with an order of toasted ravioli. While the ravioli was good, it was the marinara sauce that truly stole the show—absolutely exceptional.
If you’re a seafood lover, the seafood pizza is a must-try. Perfectly cooked shrimp and calamari are a rare find, but this spot has mastered it. The pizza is fantastic! The Aloha pizza is another great option that’s definitely worth exploring.
For dessert, my wife and I each picked something different. The tiramisu was flavorful, but the triple chocolate cake was the standout, rich and indulgent.
If you’re on the hunt for outstanding wood fired thin-crust pizza, this place should be at the top of your list!
