ALERT!! SAVE YOUR MONEY
1st impression: The portion size was very small for the amount ($64+) of money spent, so I just knew the food had to be outstanding.
2nd: I had to pay $12 to change my sides from mash potatoes and green beans to dressing and greens.
3rd Strike: THE TASTE, was so bland. Dressing no seasonings and way to much Sage. Turkey breast taste like plastic and was just as thin. Meatloaf was like a grilled hamburger seasoned with A-1 sauce, but had the nerve to be smothered in gravy. The candied Yams taste like they were made for diabetics absolutely no sugar, and lastly the greens could have used a taste less vinegar. Overall below 1 STAR . OMG- fire the manager for selling cranberry sauce with the berries in it. You know we don’t eat whole cranberries. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

The prices on the menu are different from the cashiers computer. I ordered a pickup order on DoorDash it said it would be ready at 11:30am, I got there and the cashier said I didn’t press pick up order yet you still have at least 20 more minutes for your order. I sat in the cold lobby for 30 minutes waiting an hour total for an online order.

Ordered Meatloaf and gravy it was definitely not meatloaf it was something shaped like a piece of meatloaf very mushy like bread. I have never seen anything like it. Use to be one of my favorite restaurants in the city sad to see it decline.

Placed an online order for a turkey burger. When I get there, they tell me that they are out of burgers but they automatically substituted it for a turkey breast sandwich. And charged my card $4 & some change more for the difference in price. I asked for a refund & they told me that wasn’t possible. And not to mention the turkey pieces I also ordered were overcooked. I’ve been going there for over 30 years but no more.

Some time have passed sense I have been to the Turkey grill. Like 3 or 4 years. So I decided to have a Christmas party and I picked up two fried turkeys. They were sooooo good. I can’t remember the reason I hadn’t come here for so long. But the Turkeys were very good. It looks like the younger generation of the family are learning the business and are doing a very good job at it. I will come back again.

I’ve eaten here more times than I can count and it consistently does not disappoint. Never over or underdone, never screwed up an order…I mean never. I get the turkey wing basket …you will be sad if you only get you a lil snack lol. It’s dangerously good. Like cannot stop eating it ‍ I really don’t feel like that about any place…although the pizza in Columbus Ohio is like that. Tommy’s and Massey’s..they have sesame seed thin crust Anyway though, it’s so so good. The lil salad is nice cool freshness from the heat of the Cajun turkey wings I get and the Cajun ranch is beyond delicious I need to come try their breakfast and try some of the rest of the menu. Been making some at home but mine so far is not as crispy/tender as here and I can throw down !! Until then…they getting my money and I can’t get anything else on the menu unless I start coming more often ‍♀️ Seriously though, try it. I doubt you have had better. Now all this talking about it I need to go up and get some ‍♀️ They should have paid me for this review but it’s the truth! Thank you Turkey Grill y’all the ish fr fr love y’all for cooking with love it’s definitely noticed and appreciated

Expensive for poor Quality & Quanity.
Very disappointed. Many work colleagues raved about the food & portion sizes. I Was so excited to try for myself & my mom. We were driving by on a Saturday & decided to stop.
She had Honey BBQ Turkey Flats- Which EXTRA charge for FLATS(Why when the Drum is meatier)?; Dressing was TERRIBLE, grainy;
Yams were overly seasoned with Nutmeg- And, I LOVE Nutmeg-Sweet potatoes were mushy. The lady taking my order didn’t seem phased at all with my excitement & me announcing it was our First visit & How excited I was to be there. Portion sizes for the cost & taste, very disappointing.
I would love to give this place another try but not on my dime- after spending$43.00 for one meal & 2 extra sides.

Hard to believe this place has been around for so long and I’m just now trying it!! I went with the recommendation of wings and fries and it was far better than I expected. The meal was large enough to feed me, my wife and daughter. The service was fast and the customer service via phone was good too. Next time I’m going to try the bites or taco, but they have EVERYTHING, and for a great price!! Definitely a Detroit stable!!

I ordered 3 turkey bite meals, macaroni and cheese, and 3 yams costing 80 dollars. The turkey bites were fried too hard. The macaroni were scraps. The macaroni wasn’t whole noodles. The yams were bitter, and I tried to dress it up at home. Brown sugar, vanilla extract, white sugar, and butter. Nothing worked. The yams were still bitter, and I trashed it. Cooks who don’t taste the food their giving to the public is bad business.

Cajun fried turkey wing Basket is the ideal goto Lunch pick up, to toasty golden fried wings juicy and tender with enough Cajun to frost the crispy crinkled fries and the Cajun dipping sauce is a chefs kiss to the sweet rolls included in this 20 dollar basket.
The Sweet Potatoe pie is a personal 3in pie only the sweet potatoes weren’t whisked fully leaving stains in the pie but the crust was sweet and flaky. The environment was okay but I’d rather get my food and make my scenery fulfilling.
