I have been coming to this location for over 10 years, which is why this experience was so upsetting and shocking.

After driving about an hour to attend a movie, I came in needing to use the restroom urgently before checking in and explained that to the employee at the front. Instead of being met with understanding, I was told I needed to leave the building to find a restroom elsewhere. Another employee ultimately allowed me to use the restroom.

Before going, I did say that the situation felt like “horrible customer service,” because I was simply trying to use the restroom after a long drive. I was then told I could not speak that way and asked to address it with a manager afterward.

When I came out of the restroom, the manager was already there. Without asking what had happened or giving me an opportunity to explain, he immediately told me I would not be allowed to stay and said security had been called. I wasn’t given a chance to resolve anything, use my ticket, or continue with what was meant to be a Valentine’s Day outing.

Within minutes, multiple police officers and a security guard arrived to escort me out, even though I was calm and cooperative. The sudden escalation was extremely distressing. What began as a simple request turned into an experience that felt humiliating, frightening, and completely unnecessary.

As a long-time customer, this was deeply disappointing. A conversation and a little compassion could have resolved this. I hope management reviews how situations like this are handled so no one else has to go through something similar.

I’m not a fan of this place at all! This place has potential, but it definitely lacked flavor. The bone marrow dish wasn’t cooked thoroughly. The bread that came with the artichoke dip was burned. The Brussels Sprouts were overcooked. Drinks were decent. Service was subpar. The server kept asking if we wanted to order yet as we clearly were catching up with an old executive of ours. This place was a huge disappointment. The only thing decent was the burrata salad, which was $15 but came with 3 toasted points.

Sat at the bar. Service was good and friendly. Nice place. Food was good – had a few apps and tried the burgers and lobster roll. Beer selection was good, plus a variety of cocktails. Only issue we had was that they added a $30 “server charge” in the middle of the receipt and did not disclose it. Never seen that done before without telling the customer or putting it at the bottom and showing it as an included gratuity.

This spot is such a unique vibe. We thought it was a stand alone gastropub speakeasy as we came upon in…which it is

Then you realize it’s also the counter to grab tickets to the iPic theater that is down the hall.

I was totally blown away by the Tuck Rooms’ bar setup. It’s a great spot for a happy hour after work.

The menu is not bar food, which makes it a great dinner spot. The overall vibe is great and worth hitting up.

Granted, I stumbled upon this cozy place while visiting IPIC to catch a movie. My next visit will however be so intentional! Service at the bar area was attentive, and we enjoyed the engaging interactions with the bartenders while they made our amazing drinks. I’ll plan to get a meal the next time I’m here for a more complete experience.

Located inside IPIC theater Houston. Good place to hang out while waiting for your movie to start. Nice ambience and pretty friendly service. Good manhattan and their fig and walnut-infused old fashioned is pretty good. Margaritas were ok. Good twist on deviled eggs but not enough to be something we go for again. My wife and I really loved their crab cakes though. For the price point, would rather go check out a restaurant bar close by prior to our next movie.

We love coming to Ipic and of course always visit The Tuck Room.

They have a great variety of food.

I ordered the Tuna Poke – was not a fan of it.
The calamari was amazing. Will advise that for sure.

Drinks are always a hit. Prices are reasonable.

If you haven’t been to the Tuck Room/iPic… you should make this a part of your weekend plans. The Tuck Room is super cute and is the perfect date night spot. Get dressed up, have a drink, some delish food and the walk a few steps over the the theater and catch and a movie!

As you can see the seats inside the theater are plush and the ambiance is a no brainer!

By the way, the theater is surrounded by high fashion, cute restaurants and gorgeous dogs-(Hi Henry-beautiful sheep dog!)

The staff here is great! The food is good, not outstanding but the staff makes up for ok food. Houston is a foodie town and places have to be exceptional. The Tuck Room is a great spot to get a drink prior to heading into the theater or afterward your movie. My friend and I had a glass of bubbles and the chocolate cake. The bubbles were good and the cake was good. It’s a convenient spot.

If you like movie theaters that also serve meals and adult beverages, then a place you need to visit is The Tuck Room. Located near the Houston Galleria, this is a fast- growing chain of restaurants/movie theaters that sets itself apart from the competition by emphasizing better food, an enhanced movie viewing experience, and excellent beverages.

At the Tuck Room, guests will be treated to a nice assortment of food and beverages. They have appetizers and main dishes, among them sandwiches, steak, ribs, seafood, and the like. They just recently enhanced the menu with keto- friendly options, perfect for those who are following one of these diet plans. I have tried many of the foods here but I was most impressed by the ribs. They are fall- off- the bone tender and delicious.

The atmosphere at The Tuck Room is more intimate, with soft lighting and a more elegant appearance. The wait staff, likewise, maintain a more sophisticated persona that you would expect. The rad lighting in the bar area was one of the standouts to me and I liked the atmosphere overall. They have multiple bars and meeting spaces, making it perfect for those who want to schedule a special event.

Probably the most memorable part of a visit to The Tuck Room is the movie theaters. Known as iPic Theaters, these places for film watching are smaller than the theaters you’re used to and they take the concept of comfort to new levels. The reclining seats are situated in pairs, perfect for a romantic evening. They even come complete with a pillow and blanket for each guest! Needless to say, you can get very comfortable when you watch a movie at The Tuck Room’s iPic Theater and this easily sets it apart from other places.

Lots of movie theaters nowadays serve foods and adult beverages, but the Tuck Room is in a class by itself. The food, drink, service, and intimacy of the theaters are like few others and make the Tuck Room a place that belongs on your radar and a place everyone should experience at least once.
