I was really excited to try this place because I heard awesome things, but honestly I left disappointed. First, the seating was very uncomfortable, my fiance and I sat at the metal, patio furniture tables as the high tops were taken. Didn’t let it bother me at first, I was excited to try the food! We got the onion petals and deep fried portabella mushrooms for starters. The onion petals were amazing, no complaints there. The mushrooms were fried a bit dark, was a little concerned about the grease they just came out of, but overall they weren’t bad. For dinner we shared the Truck Stop Box, which comes with a burger, 5 chicken wings, and fries or loaded fries, which we got. I ate the wings, I had ordered garlic parmesan and I received plain, fried wings with no seasonings. They were still good dipped in their ranch dressing, which was also good. My fiance said the burger was ok, a bit plain (he got the jalapeño and swiss). The loaded fries which are topped with cheese, brisket (I think) and green onions, were good taste wise, but they were basically cold as soon as we got them. I ate a few bites and I was done with that. My fiance had 2 tequila sunrise drinks that were made well and tasted good. The waitress was nice, yet quite persistent. I think she came by to ask us how we were doing every 3 minutes. Better than never seeing your server I suppose, but still a bit overwhelming.
So overall, it was ok, but I probably won’t be going back.

Ok, these are always tough ones because I want to give a good honest review that hopefully helps though there’s some critical points to make.
I’ll get straight to the point.
The bartender/server was quick to greet us, was prompt with our drinks and taking our order and we loved the industrial Rock n Roll theme as they also have a concert venue, literally called “THE VENUE”.
We’ve never been here before but we’ve heard good things and wanted to give them a try.

Ok here’s where it gets tough,
The food.
We ordered an appetizer of jalapeno poppers and flavor wise they were what’s to be expected but
It was a very small portion for the price, $8, or I SHOULD say the poppers them selves were small compared to what we’ve had in other places, there’s 5 per order where 8 is a normal quantity.

I ordered the, Zesty jalapeno burger and my wife ordered the Sticky-icky both burgers were served with a healthy portion of wavy chips and a crispy pickle spear, $14 ea, a normal price for today’s economy.

And because they literally cook these burgers on a charcoal/wood barrel smoker that’s set up in the middle of the kitchen they had a real backyard BBQ flavor and were well seasoned and even with what I’m about to mention next were really flavorful.

They came as described on the menu but we like our burgers medium rare and they were served beyond well done and extremely dry and her bacon was… Burnt, no other way to describe it.
The server did note clearly on the ticket, med rare. The wife ordered onion rings that were missed and came out late and well done and though both burgers had a sauce on them it didn’t help the dryness much.

But I WILL SAY THIS. I noticed a young cook working alone and though they didn’t “look” busy there was a 5 top with at least 3 burgers, a 2 top with 1 burger that I saw and as we ordered another 2 top ordered 2 burgers as well so I guess that says something about those burgers now doesn’t it?

I feel they were short staffed in the kitchen and the cook was simply overwhelmed, I’ve been in those shoes for over 40 yrs and still am so I understand. I would suggest slowing down a little, communicate to the guest that while we don’t look busy they’re getting hit all at once, thank you for your patience so you food is correct.

If they don’t understand SEND THEM TO MCDONALD’S .

We will be back because it was a good overall experience.
ONE LAST THING!
Kudos to that bartender for doing the best she could at getting the fire stoked up in the fire place with the logs that barely fit! Get them 2 boys we seen walk in an axe and chopping block!

So we decided to eat here last night. 12/1/25 about 530 pm or abouts. this is normally are goto spot. As we really enjoy the place. And service is always friendly. But the food last night was horrible for the misses. She got the ribeye stake meal. Witch she loves. But when the nice waitress brought the food to us. They gave her a new York stake. Not a Riley. Believe me I know the difference! Even the waitress agreed with us. And even she complained a few times. Great waitress. But that wasn’t all. The mashed potatoes were super lumpy. Almost like they just skinned a potato and then baked it. And then just mashed it with a fork. Her bun was burnt. She didn’t order cagen. Sadly I love this place. Just hope the next time. We get better food. Or we won’t be coming back are selves. Hopefully the young cook will figure out the difference between the two. Because someone clearly screwed up. As I always post my reviews. My followers know. I know the difference between the two!

I have been here many times. I brought 2 out of town quests. I chose this eatery because of the food. We arrived at 7:10 pm. Was somewhat busy…one waitress. The cook was clearing tables and brought our menus. We got a drink order 2 pops and a beer simple enough. We ordered about 7:30. Our food took 50 minutes! My burger was cold, old, dry and very well done. I ordered medium. My sis ordered the chicken thigh dinner with mashed potatoes both were cold. Old dried up thighs Forgot her corn and finally showed up with it in a paper boat lol. Other quest ordered a NY strip (the only thing made correctly) but cold baked potato forgot the butter AND the corn was served on the plate and it was soaked in the steak blood . Never got our dinner rolls…no biggie probably had to pay for a pat of cold hard butter anyway. Very disappointed. I doubt I’ll be back.

First time going here. Stopped on my lunch break as I was in town. I saw they had a sign up saying they had the best burgers in town so I decided to get a burger. I got a steakhouse burger with jalapeños. Burger was very good, the way they cooked it made it stand apart from other places. Service was fantastic. Will definitely be back when I’m in town to try other menu items

This was my first time stopping after hearing about their great food. We are from Texas and finding quality food around us is not hard to do. Finding something this good in Cadillac has been hit and miss. Both of the burgers we ordered were cooked to perfection and the taste was fabulous. Both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised and were extremely happy we dropped by. She said that was the best Olive burger she has ever had and the BBQ Bacon Cheddar I had was top notch. I truly hope others will try this place and support it to keep it in business for many years to come.
