The blackened chicken soft tacos were perfect. The chicken was actually blackened, flavorful, tender, and the toppings were perfectly balanced and complemented the chicken well. The bartender was very attentive and cheerful, she stood out with great customer service. This is a nice place to meet a friend, watch a game, or eat a meal with the family.

I ordered the town grill burger and asked for medium well but gave me well done. The fries were good and and the waiter was nice they would usually come and refill drinks whenever we finished. Also do NOT Get the calamari’s because most of them were all fried banana peppers. TRUST Me DO NOT get it

I hadn’t eaten at this Town Hall in a few years, then due to circumstances i ended up eating there twice in a two week period. So my review covers both visits.
The food was generally good, although there were a few things. We ordered a flat bread appetizer and it came out burnt. We were puzzled that they would serve something obviously burnt like that. We asked for a replacement and they took care of it. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, which was very good, but halfway through the sandwich kind of disinigrated into various pieces. The fish and chips were very good.
On our first visit the service was a bit off, but very good on our second visit. We sat inside on both visits, sometimes the noise levels are loud, but the bar is right there, so not unexpected.

My family and I frequent Townhall and are regularly impressed by its quality and consistency. We recently had an exceptionally great experience lead by our server John. He was attentive and caring to our needs as we dined with our two young children. The food was great and the service was top-notch. John is phenomenal. Definitely recommend!

Tonight my friend and I came into town hall for dinner. Our server, Hannah, made our experience the absolute best. From the moment she came to the table she was so enthusiastic and seemed excited to give us service. She checked on us consistently and never let our drinks get too low. We stopped in for a late lunch and ordered burgers and fries. I had the Mondo burger, which was a huge beef patty, bbq sauce, bacon, onion straws and melty cheese. It was delicious, I was only shot to eat half of it though. Truffle fries would have made this! Put that on the menu!
Everyone was really courteous and friendly, the atmosphere was phenomenal. I love the market lights and rustic hanging beams with bulbs.
Lots of natural light, and the music was chill. ‘Wish I knew you when I was young’ was playing in the background while we munched on fried pickles. Similar good songs played that made us really enjoy our experience.

So good!! My friend and I ate outside on their pretty large outdoor patio which was super nice! Southern Village is a nice community area. Our server was super sweet, a fellow UNC student! They have a really large menu- I can guarantee everyone could find something they would like. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with the mushrooms, grilled onions, pickled cucumber, gouda, etc and it was amazing. My friend got the southwest salad and enjoyed it. They have special menu items named after UNC basketball players such as Armondo and Seth Trimble which is fun. The players are actually pictured eating their specific menu item at the restaurant. I will absolutely be going back here and would definitely get the grilled chicken sandwich again!!

The gumbo was outstanding! We always enjoy our time at Town Hall Grill. John Davison was our waiter and he did a great job helping us feel welcome. Food came out promptly and hot!
