We traveled from NYC for Snow Tubing at Cold Spring, and we were looking for a place to get late lunch/dinner and we found this place, we liked the atmosphere pictures so we decided to go. Great service, we thought the place was new, cause everything looks very good maintained and very modern, but seems its been here for a few years.
To drink I ordered a Coconut Margarita and my husband got a Hot Honey Peach Margarita, we LOVED it like for real was so good.
To eat we got
– Birria Tacos
– Duck Tacos
– Beef Empanada
– Crab Meat Empanada
– Yucca Fries
Everything was so good, but the Birria Tacos were amazing! We have tried tacos before but never as good as these ones tbh.
And overall the atmosphere is so chill, so cozy. All Tuesday’s from 6-8PM there is live music if you are into that.
We are definitely returning here to eat if we go back next year to Ski or Snow Tubing.

This might be a lengthy review, but I want to break down what my partner and I ordered and how we felt about it!
We ended up here accidently, as we attempted another restaurant nearby but we stood and waited at an empty front desk for nearly 10 minutes while some servers ran around and a child sat at the desk and played some games on a tablet, so we left and looked for another place nearby, and that turned out to be this place!
I definitely can’t say I’m disappointed our original plans didn’t work out!
So for the one picture attached, we had ordered a corn empanada to share, and let me tell you, it was one of the best empanadas I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious, and whatever that dipping sauce was, absolute chef’s kiss. It had a nice heat to it that added beautifully to the corn empanada, which was perfectly crisp without being greasy, and just so good!
We also ordered an arepa to share (not pictured), and that was phenomenal! The toppings included shrimp, chorizo, and an amazing corn/tomato sauce that made a great match with the sweet, slightly crispy arepa.
For our mains, I ordered the chorizo tacos and my partner ordered the carnitas, and both were so, so good! I wish I took pictures, but I know we’ll be returning, so I’ll make sure to update this review when we do!
I do want to add that the service was great!
There was an ingredient missing for one of our drinks and both the server(s) and bartender asked if I wanted any kind of replacement ingredient or a different drink if the one without that ingredient wasn’t good, but honestly it turned into a regular mango margarita and it was delicious!
Overall, really nice atmosphere, I loved the décor and the dim lighting. The service was great, everyone was kind and accommodating, and the food and drinks were phenomenal. I look forward to returning and trying more of their delicious menu! 🙂

Enjoyed a nice lunch here today with my family. My sister got the birria tacos, I had the Baja fish tacos, My dad got crab meat empanadas, and my dad‘s fiancé had the guac (Amazing !!!) . I tried a little bit of everybody’s food. Everything was very tasty and delicious. We also ordered a pitcher of coconut margaritas, which you can actually taste the liquor in which is rare for restaurants. Very good. We entered the day off with some churros. Yum!!! And my dad had the flan which he loved ! Overall, we will definitely be back!! And we’re coming up from New Rochelle!

Went to Tortilla Project this evening and had the best experience. It was everyone’s first time going in my party and each of us enjoyed our time spent there. We arrived in the evening after the sun had went down and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and photo worthy from the minute you walk in. We were seated almost immediately without a reservation. Our server was attentive from the moment we sat down. We only drank water throughout our meal and our water pitcher was constantly getting refilled without asking. The menu was descriptive which made selections easy. The food was immaculate and came pretty quick. The presentation of the food was photo worthy and we all took pictures of our plates. Taco Project is on my recommendation list.

The owner greeted me himself. Mitch was very personable. Talking to all his guest running orders and refilling drinks leading by example. Come to find out while talking to him he did most of building when it came to this great atmosphere as well as coming with the menu. The food was amazing and the drinks looked awesome even I wanted to try something from the bar.( and I don’t drink) They had live music hot food and cold drinks. Definitely a place to make a weekly stop. And when you do swing in tell him chris from Georgia said hello.

Went in tonight after work after sleeping on this place ordered some food to go and had a classic margarita while I waited. The marg was solid food was ready just as I took my last sip. I ended up going with the taquitos, guac, fish tacos everything was absolutely delicious especially those taquitos 10/10 I did ask for corn tortillas on on the carnitas tacos but got flour, it wasn’t a huge deal but still delicious. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone, wish they were open Mondays

Perfect margarita! This is a place that is great for hanging out with your best friends or loved ones, sharing a varieties of small plates. We love the Birria tacos which is crispy and juicy, with special chili dipping sauce. also like the Arepa, that is a grilled corn cake with chorizo, shrimp in light cream sauce (this dish is on the sweet side).

First time here – came in with a few friends on a Wednesday – it was packed when we got in at 6:30. The food and cocktails were delish, my favorites being the chimichanga and pickle margarita.

We left here so happy! And ready to come back again. The food was delicious with clearly fresh ingredients and unique combinations (like an arepa with chorizo, shrimp and tomato in a cream sauce).
The vibe is modern but comfortable- lots of great design touches. Spacious for a small space overall. The owner took time to tell us about the dishes and how they chose what went on the menu. I’d highly recommend the arepa, taquitos and shrimp tacos. Even the chips are clearly homemade in house and lightly seasoned with spices. Such a good touch.
Can’t wait to come back to try the drinks! Come for a date night or drinks / dinner with friends.
