Cool spot with a unique menu focusing on Pickles in many of the menu items. You order using an app and the server brings you your items… then you have the option to re fill your own drinks as well as pack up your takeout.

Love this place. Great freaking food! My favorite is the ‘Toasted Cuban’. I get it every time. The atmosphere is fantastic. The Staff are super friendly and professional. The service couldn’t be easier and the food is quick. Can’t say enough about this place.

My husband and I visited shortly after they opened and were very disappointed with our food then. We thought they needed time to work through the quirks and decided to go back tonight. Honestly, it has gone down hill further. Tonight we watched our waitress from the upper level touch her nose and other parts of her face several times. Without washing her hands she reached into the utensil holder and grab the spoon for our macaroni by the end that we eat off from. Then she proceeded to pick up the bowl that our macaroni was going to be put in and proceeded to the kitchen to get our macaroni. On the way she picked her wedgie. After our food was plated she continued to laugh and joke with another staff member for about 5 minutes before she brought us our food. No one stopped by our table to ask us how our food was and several tables were left dirty for the entirety of our visit.
On to the food…despite watching all of this we decided to get new utensils and take a few bites. I had the Tipsey Texan bbq and the bbq was dry. There was barely any sauce on it and the lettuce that was on it was just the brown ends not even the leafy part. My husband had the Get Pickled grilled cheese, and just like our first time said he could have made it better himself at home.
Atmosphere would be nice, if it was clean. Aside from the tables not being cleaned and trays everywhere, we noted that the place just hadn’t been deep cleaned in some time. There were cobwebs everywhere we looked and dust on every surface. See pictures for what I could see just from my seat.
Due to the unsanitary actions of staff, cleanliness, and food quality we will not be returning. We were really hoping they would have turned it around.

Now I know why this little soup, salad and sandwich shop is always busy. Great atmosphere, well staffed, the food is made with love and high quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable, and city parking is easily accessible. I got the sweet potato waffle fries, Michigan cherry salad, omitted cheese due to allergy and topped with the grilled chicken. The best part was the Hot Honey Lemonade. Light on spice, heavy in flavor and freshness!!!

The Toasted Pickle is a cute, small and delicious restaurant in downtown Rockford. It is self-order and super convenient. The food was outstanding as well as the lemonade and summer themed drinks and cocktails. Perfect for family lunch and dinner. 10/10 definitely recommend.

The food isn’t too bad, they have unique options, and the food arrived quickly. The atmosphere is comfortable, but you have to place orders using a mobile app or ordering at the counter. I dined in with a total of 4 adults and 1 child. Unfortunately after having a few canned alcoholic beverages with our lunch, we were told they couldn’t serve us anymore. I’m not sure what this was about, but it was quite the turn off. We were not warned there was a limit on alcohol drinks, or that we were nearing the cut off limit. Our behavior wasn’t at all disruptive, so I’m a little confused on the sudden refusal to serve us. Anyway, we ended up finishing our evening at the Rogue River Tavern on the opposite corner, where they didn’t limit our beverages.

I got pulled pork sandwich and daughter got the fish platter. Food was very good, lemonades tasted great. Was a daughter dad date, kind of different atmosphere as you order down stairs or using QR code. Only reason gave 4 stars is as a handicapped person no parking close, not easy to get up stairs, $24 ish dollars for fries sandwich and a drink. But over all was a great time

Totally packed the day I went with my friends. Still as good as the 1st time I’d went a year ago. The fries were so good. Everything is easily changed and love the flexibility of the menu. Now to the seating with being so many people we squeezed into a booth waiting for a table to open then changed. If you are plus sized the booths with the tables are not for you. They are not friendly. You will want the chair tables or the tables with the benches. Oh the lemonade is a must! I love and recommend the lavender!

We decided to stop in here for lunch and I ordered a French dip sandwich. I love French dips but I have to say they have the BEST French dip I’ve ever had. My fiance didn’t even want their sandwich because it was so good. Definitely will be back for it again!
