This is my first time at the tipsy turtle. I was in town and very interested in a traditional Wisconsin fish fry. We went on Friday night and it was moderately busy. They are under renovation currently and it seems like the change to their physical area had upset the service a little bit. I could only see one woman that was waiting on all of the tables, and I think she was pushed to the limits of her bandwidth.
The fish fry was excellent. I had the three-piece cod with the beer batter and it was terrific. The breading was crispy and clung to the fish pretty well. I chose potato pancakes for my side. They were denser than they usually are, but the flavor was very good. I would give the coleslaw two thumbs up. Obvious that it’s their own, not something that’s pre-prepared and delicious. It also came with a slice of marble rye, which was also very good.
Despite the confusion in the dining room, our food came quicker than I had anticipated and everything was very good.
It looks like they’ve got a new patio area outside. If I had to do over again, I would’ve sat out there. It looked very nice. It would be a great spot to sit if the weather allowed.

Beautiful lake views. Fun atmosphere. Great bands. Katie the server was fast and super friendly. Pizza was delicious as well as the baked and fried cod. The Reuben rolls were fantastic. Shelly Mack and the Reunion played 4/12 and are a must see. Thank you for being a fun venue with friendly staff and great food.Thanks for advertising in the Clipper Magazine. The whole bar is being remodeled, and is under construction currently.
The new look is coming together, and will be amazing when completed. The food is some of the best bar food I’ve had in the area. The staff had a great and friendly demeanor. I am a hand full to staff. I ask for alot of sauces and sides, but no one was annoyed by any of my needs. The staff was on the spot with everything I requested.

We used their banquet area for my husbands surprise birthday party. Michelle took care of us and Brian, the manager, helped as well. So friendly, so quick and efficient. We had multiple requests for this and that and they were so accommodating.
We had pizza and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered one of every kind they had and they were all amazing. A few others ordered different things off the menu and they also said it was all fantastic.
We can’t wait to go back!

I was here for a band that I love called the lunch money bullies and it was a great time. There are two bars in the place. The smaller one is in the center of the bar and the larger one runs along the outside edge. There were two bartenders working and sometimes three. But it was still hard to get a drink. This is why I gave the service a three-star. The bar is located next to the boat launch for big muskego and also next to the gun club which I’m not sure is still an operation. It’s called boxhorn gun club.
