Chris, Trent and the Tipsy Crow team are amazing. Wonderful service, great atmosphere, and an ideal location. I’ve been going for years, and the pool table, good music, 3 levels, and sweet bartenders keep me returning. Their special events are fun, dynamic, and bring a fresh vibe to the place, it truly never gets old. A staple in the Gaslamp bar scene, you’ll be happy you went.

We came for the nightmare before Christmas theme, we were stuck on the middle floor because the top floor doesnt open until 9 amd the bottom floor is only open on weekends so we got one jack inflatable. The waitress was rude and flighty. The food was horrible. The 18$ lobster roll is smaller then my hand and tasted super fishy and gross. The French dip sliders were decent but only worth it if on happy hour prices. The home alone pizza was decent

The Tipsy Crow had great energy to it. I loved the whole stock-market style drink menu & my Crow Fashioned was good. Overall just a fun spot with a cool atmosphere.

The food was pretty good but on the pricier side. It was a little surprising that they had security at the front door on a Sunday afternoon but that speaks more about the San Diego & California government than them. When asking to see ids, security only wants driver’s licenses. My global entry card which is issued by the US government via US customs & border protection, which has my photo and birth date, was not accepted.

Two floor club with good vibes! DJ played a lot of fun 2010 hits that we absolutely loved. Place was quite hot and stuffy and it closed by 1:30am. 5$ cover charge. We were there on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too crowded- definitely will want to come again!

Amazing staff and ambiance from the moment you walk in. Everyone is genuinely friendly and welcoming, which makes such a difference and sets the tone for the entire experience. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and has a great vibe whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or planning to stay awhile. The staff is attentive without being overbearing and clearly cares about making guests feel at home. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy good conversation, and actually feel appreciated as a customer. I would absolutely recommend this bar and will definitely be coming back again.

The Tipsy Crow always stands out — this place is built different.
Nick Barns, the manager, sets the tone from the door. He’s a solid leader, longtime friend, and has that MMA background (Bellator status!) that shows up in how he runs the spot — with precision, respect, and presence.
Gina the bartender was on point from start to finish. Great energy, fast service, and she makes you feel like a VIP with every pour.
Live music by BJ Jezebera sealed the whole vibe — raw talent, smooth flow, and the kind of sound that brings the place to life.
This isn’t just a bar — it’s part of the San Diego fabric. Whether you’re a regular or just passing through, The Tipsy Crow hits all the marks.
Also would like to mention Charles the security guard . Very professional and on point.

The Tipsy Crow in San Diego’s Gaslamp has a fun vibe overall, but the experience was a bit mixed. The bartenders were fantastic — super friendly, fast, and made great drinks. Food and beverages were decent; nothing extraordinary, but definitely hit the spot for a night out.
However, the security staff left a bad impression. They were rude when clearing out chairs from the bar area, making people who were already seated feel unwelcome. It definitely put a damper on the atmosphere.
All in all, it’s a decent spot if you’re looking for good service at the bar, but don’t expect the same friendliness from the security team.

Came here with a group of friends and headed upstairs to the lounge. The main level has a dive bar vibe and underground is a night club.
It’s an old building with lots of charm. The red carpart going up stars for sure need a make over. Upstairs was a narrow hallway with leather seats, fireplace, pole table. Has a dance floor with a deejay. Great street view of down town.
I ordered the cucumber smash which was refreshing with gin and cucumber. Almost like gin and tonic. I love tequila so I got the pacific Paloma. It was probably bottom shelf because I did not enjoy this drink. It doesn’t have the best drinks but nice vibe.
Parking in downtown is a challenge. You’ll have to parallel or pay at the meters. My friend found free parking along Seventh and F Ave. Whereas I parked at Park it on Market for $1 an hour every hour up to 6pm. After that it’s either $15 flat rate or $5 flat rate depending on the day of the week.

We didn’t have dinner there because it was late when we arrived. But it’s a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. The staff was really friendly, and we ended up sitting by the bar and chatting with some other customers. The drinks are really good, and it’s not too expensive.
