This is just currently the last restaurant still standing right on the water in Cedar Key. The dining room is pretty small, but there’s a good-sized patio overlooking the water and it’s not uncommon to see dolphins out there.

I had the fried grouper dinner and it was delicious, with excellent mashed potatoes on the side. We also got the shrimp sliders and those were great.

They claim to have fantastic burgers, and they definitely smelled great.

The atmosphere is funky and fun and our server was great.

The only downside was that, as the only restaurant on the water, they were busy and out of a LOT of menu items — but they also had enough left to keep it interesting.

The Tipsy Cow is an incredible restaurant and we will definitely be coming back! The menu has many great options and the bar menu is very extensive. We got Scott’s Tots which were unbelievable, definitely started our meal off amazing. For dinner, we had the Croo Cruz’s King burger with chips and salsa and the Grouper Sammich with Mac n cheese. Everything tasted unbelievable and incredibly fresh. For dessert we shared a slice of key lime pie. The service was great and our waitress offered many great suggestions as the menu is so broad! The cocktails were great price and we tried many different ones that all tasted great.

The atmosphere is incredible, with indoor and outdoor options for seating and beautiful views of the ocean.

Beautiful view, friendly service, and good food.

Nice variety of apps and entrees. They even have a doggie menu! ❤️

Shrimp ‘Po Boy was good. A little small but tasty.

Blackened Shrimp Tacos were fresh & tasty. Choose between chips & salsa or fries for your side.

Soft drinks in the can so you pay by the can

I’m glad to see them still operating after such devastating storms but it needs some attention. Tables outside have loose planks and high top stools are wobbly – guess that’s where they got their name.

My wife and visited the tipsy cow on our weekend away. We both ordered tacos and they were pretty good. Please don’t order the asparagus as a side, as you will be disappointed. The service was OK, but the view outdoors was great.

My husband and I ate here during our weekend getaway. (Shop small, support local!!) We had great service, it took us a bit to decide and our waitress was super friendly and kind. She reminded us we’re were on island time and there was no rush! I had the brisket grilled cheese and he had the Tipsy Burger. Both were delicious but that grilled cheese was perfection! The cheese pull…perfect. The meat to cheese ratio…perfect! We had a couple of drinks and some tasty shots! I highly recommend Melissa’s sweet tea, super refreshing but will definitely sneak up on you!! We can’t wait to go back on our next trip!

Not a place for a younger crowd (30s) children not welcomed. Even while holding our child an older woman told us we had to go inside and he wasn’t allowed to stay on patio ( patio rules said kids allowed) clams were full of sand. Out of everything at 2pm. I’ve never canceled an order and cashed out before or been given so many rules at a janky dive bar

We did eat there. He took his shoes off and we put them back on. He cried for about one minute because yall made him go inside and you asked the man playing music if we should be kicked out. Clearly from your response you can see the type of people running the place. $45 for two ultras, one margarita and an order of clams. Still tipped %20 because it wasn’t the servers fault it was the older woman’s attitude. Went to steamers and had a much better experience. Don’t waste your money

Try the sliders! Had the burger one and the shrimp one both times we had dinner here during our weekend stay on Cedar Key.
Bar service was great!…food service the second night was quite long, but they were packed, and the server kept our glasses filled, so no pain in waiting! We later learned they were down a chef, so that’s understandable. But whether they were packed or hardly busy (like the first time we ate there), we had the best service and the most mouthwatering meals. Very flavorful! And price is on point for the portions. For sure another spot we’ll be stopping in at on our next visit to Cedar Key! Side note, you’re on the water, so you can’t beat the view!

Food wasnt great. I had the cheeseteak. It looked appealing but it wasnt very flavorful. My wife said the same about the wings. The place is right on the water and would be perfect at sunset. The service was adequate. Idk if id go here again, but it wasnt terrible.
