The tortilla chips were some of the best I’ve ever had! The queso dip, pico and guacamole that came with the chips were all solid.
I had Kyle’s Favorite salad – wow just so delicious!
I had a Cuban with fries and the sandwich was good. Fries were decent and the service was great.
They’ve got a pretty good menu with tons of variety and a decent beer selection.
Here’s the Breakdown:
Great Service from my beertender +1 star; crispy fries +1 star; nice sized sammich +1 star; bar feel +1 star.
It’s local, serves a good lunch – I’ll be back.
The food and service are decent, I recommend the Tinga Chicken Tacos, but stay AWAY from the Parmesan Chicken wings, they put a weird dressing on them that I’ve NEVER seen or heard of before. Garlic Parmesan wings should always be baked, not slathered in sauce FYI.
The live music has its moments, about average to pretty good depending on the night.
Unfortunately, the bar is mostly let down by the crowd/vibe/energy or lack thereof.
If you’re into a bar with an average age of around 65+, with a ratio of about 9 guys to every 1 woman, including the bartenders, then this is EXACTLY Your spot.
Go with a group of 3-5 people you already know, because neither the bartenders or anyone else in the bar will be interested in either meeting you or striking up a conversation, unless they know & are friends with you from outside the bar.
If you are new to Nashville and/or looking to meet new friends… I would look elsewhere.
I mean seriously — we’re in Tennessee, not Lincoln. How do you not show SEC football on a Saturday? It’s absurd.
Now, to be fair, the Nebraska fans were super friendly — they even bought us a round and had flown all the way across the country just to come here. But before the game even started, they asked if we were leaving soon, basically trying to claim the table like it was reserved for them.
At the end of the day, I just can’t wrap my head around it. A bar in Tennessee that won’t play SEC football? Come on. Unless you’re a Nebraska fan, don’t waste your time — this place should just change the name to Tin Roof Lincoln and call it a day.
