Stopped in for a quick dinner. Service was quick / friendly. My daughter had the shrimp basket with tater tots and garlic toast. I had the Ruben on a gluten free bun, and subbed coleslaw. Sincethey do not have a dedicated fryer I could not have anything fried such as tots, fries, etc. Reasonable prices.

Got stuck in a rainstorm and hopped inside to dry off. The bartender and kitchen staff were both welcoming. They didn’t have much for a vegetarian, but the cheese curds were fantastic.

This is an absolute hidden Little g e m in Downsville Wisconsin, you can sit at the bar are relaxed in the back room table area. They have cozy booths. There’s also tablecloths napkins and a nice little meeting area. The food is delicious and very inexpensive I would recommend their steak bites. And the Patty melts and Fries are absolutely amazing kudos to the Cook!

We ordered the Lumberjack Burger with Tots and White Cheddar Cheese Curds. The burgers were made medium rare, juicy, and delicious. The buns were home made. The tots were great and the curds were excellent with a thin coating. The gal who took our order was very nice. She was the cook as well. Best burgers around. We’ll be back !

The Timber Inn is what used to be TJ’s. It has been completely re-done inside and outside. Food is still good, more beer selection, and it is much more airy and modern feeling. Good bar food. Not a gourmet hangout but good burgers and Friday fish fry.
