We had the veg curry puffs which were good, the filling was potatoes and they came with a plum sauce which wasn’t super sweet. We got the thonglor curry with tofu and substituted the jasmine rice with fried rice, both the rice and the curry were really good. We were pleasantly surprised with the quantity as well.

One of the best Thai food I’ve ever tasted in the US. I’ve always ordered Pad Thai to check whether a Thai restaurant is any good. And this one definitely pass. The red curry was also amazing, the spicy level was just right because we do love spicy food. The line was a bit long, but it was worth the wait.

I am at a lost for words so I’m going to do my best here. This food was so amazing I smiled the entire time I ate! This is only my third time in my life of ever having Thai food and after this I won’t miss a meal! Between the flavors, tenderness of the meat, the aroma, everything was just on point. The level of spice was perfect and the meat on the chicken wings was falling off of the bone! I ordered the rice dish with chicken, spicy wings, and the Thai tea with coconut milk. The customer service was excellent, the gentlemen in the front was patient, hardworking, kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. I saw some reviews commenting on the size of the place and it is very limited seating but it only adds to the coziness of the atmosphere. I will make it my mission to come here every time I visit San Francisco. 10/10 my goodness

I just Googled the name “Thonglor” so you don’t have to! Thonglor is a super hip district of Bangkok, apparently known for its cuisine. An appropriate name for this tiny eatery in Union Square.

Best Thai curries in the city! Very limited space to dine in and to wait in line, but totally worth the wait. Will be out go-to Thai place for sure!

Small, quaint and fantastic. I absolutely crave this place. The best Drunken Noodles I have eaten anywhere. Portions are perfect, service is quick and to the point. Foodies know this is the best Thai food hands down. I come to SF 1-2 times a year and I have to go.

Chicken Satay was amazing ! The chicken was very tender and juicy! Pad Thai with chicken and Fried rice with pork were great too! Unfortunately I couldn’t fully enjoy the Green Curry because it was too spicy for me. Vegetable spring rolls were tasty. Service was great. Our server was very attentive and was checking on us frequently! Overall I had good experience and enjoyed tasty food!

First time customer, ordering takeout. Chicken Pad Thai ordered spicy is truly spicy— thank you!! Good portion and nice mix of tofu chicken and veg. Would have maybe liked a bit more sauce, but overall in pad Thai less sauce is better than more! Excited to see Roti canai on menu— roti is deliciously flaky and greasy and red curry flavour is delicious. beef is tough and thinly sliced (would not order beef again..). “Real Bangkok experience” as I killed one cockroach with my shoe in their pickup area while waiting and saw another skuttle in from street to kitchen that I wasn’t fast enough to get…! I’m sure In this neighbourhood, fighting roaches is probably like trying to protect against a tsunami… but still a spooky Halloween surprise !!
