Didn’t realize this was inside a hotel, when looking for a better breakfast than the weak $37 hotel buffet where I was staying.

Less than $25, real made to order omelets and waffles, giant pork sausages and mounds of quality bacon. Juice and coffee included. I was going to order off the menu, but why order onr omelet when you can have all you want for a few dollars more.

Amazing staff (and I am a tough critic).

Service was amazing by the young lady with long curly hair. We came in 30 mjns before closing and she definitely held her own ground and ran the last couple tables before 10. This place was the only restaurant open Sunday night. Definitely giving it a great 5 stars of 5.

The food was really top tier. Even though I got the charcuterie board instead of the chefs meatballs. I was okay without the replacement. But the waitress and chef accommodated and did superb.

The atmosphere was very loud due to the bar being very close by this restaurant. It was the next room over. It smells like old cigarettes when we walked in. Which gave me a headache after 15 minutes of being inside this bar & restaurant area.

This was an impromptu drop in and we were pleasantly surprised! They were super busy and we didn’t have a reservation. The weather was amazing so we decided to eat outside. The waiter was courteous and prompt. The food was good! The Hibiscuss Citrus drink was the star of this story. We would like to come again!

Didn’t make a reservation at Old Ebbitt, so decided to eat at the hotel. Showed up at 5pm and they had plenty of space. The prices are a bit steep (which is to be expected of any restaurant with a captive hotel audience). Food itself was pretty good and came out fast. They have some decent craft beers on tap too. Service was very friendly.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR BREAKFAST. This is the same hotel buffet breakfast you will get in rural arkansas and it is $25 for a plate. Cannot speak on the lunch and dinner as it seems nice, but you are better off ubering something legit from georgetown than having breakfast here.

Overall it was underwhelming. I believe they were understaffed when we were here because we had two people waiting us and they were not in sync. They forgot to take our order after we ordered drinks and an appetizer, i actually had to ask if we could place our order. Plus, it took quite a while for our beverages and appetizer to arrive. I believe the meatball appetizer was somewhat raw which was surprising considering the outside was crunchy. I ordered the steak incorrectly so I will not be reviewing that but everything we ordered was very well presented.

We stay at this hotel several times when we are in Washington D.C. and their breakfast buffet at this Hilton Garden Inn is very good. They have an omelette station where you can have yours made to order, the thick breakfast sausage was the best I’ve ever had anywhere, and the cut up natural fresh fruit was consistently great day after day. There were also assorted breads, cereals, and hash brown potatoes that looked good too for those who enjoy carbohydrates and sugary items for those who may want to gain weight:)
We would hardly recommend it for a hearty breakfast.

We found this bar and restaurant at the bottom of our hotel. It was a hidden gem! We spent a lot of time with our bartender.
I applied myself to try every cocktail on their cocktail menu. I didn’t quite make it but the ones I had were really great. You really can’t go wrong here.

Dined in september 2025. Terrible meal… ignored by the server, had the steak salad and the meat was the smallest portion I had ever seen, and over-cooked. Clearly looking to make money off of hotel guests.

Third Rail serves as a decent hotel bar, making it an acceptable stop for one or two drinks. However, potential patrons should be aware that the prices are on the high side.

A significant drawback for sports fans is the fact that they cannot show Thursday Night Football, as the games are exclusively broadcast on Amazon Prime—a detail that is a notable disappointment for many.
