She’s such a personable, sweet, and professional individual. If she isn’t working, I will go right back upstairs!
The wings were okay. I liked the sauce, I think it was the whisky soy or something like that. The meat was a bit – dry, and some parts were almost yellow. Picked around it and I was able to enjoy my meal.
The lady bartenders were wonderful , attentive&polite. DJ was fun & crown was dancing.
wanted to eat so we went inside. I ordered the pasta Primavera and the sauce was delicious, but the vegetables were raw. Note to chef, you must cook eggplant you cannot just heat it up. It was awful, but I was so hungry. I ate everything but the eggplant and the terrible toast points, which tasted like they were leftover from breakfast and then spiced up for dinner.
.
Nice way to start the day if you choose to eat outside. Breakfast over looking the downtown square. Price is on par with any hotel restaurant.
In the evenings the bar is open.
Mixed crowd. Good music. Not bad for a hotel bar.
We found a nice seat on the terrace looking out over the Christmas lights of the downtown Ocala Square. It’s quite a beautiful perspective.
Unfortunately. It took several minutes to be even seen by a waitress. It was so long, I walked to the bar to get a wine list, so we could order when the server arrived. When she finally did arrive, we ordered two glasses of wine.
Fast forward another 10 minutes, we still hadn’t received our drinks, no food menu, no water which is weird as there was only one patron at the bar, two Manager type people walking around, the server, and the bartender.
We bailed and went to Mark’s, which was packed. We bailed, went to LA Cuisine which was also packed. We ended up at District and were extremely lucky to get two spots at the bar.
The Terrace has so much potential if only they showed a little bit of effort. So sad.
It took a long time just to order food. Our drinks took a while and as we were about to to give our food order, our waitress disappeared. My husband had to get up twice and go to find our waitress just to get the bill or order food. It was a weekday and there wasn’t a rush of a ton of restaurant patrons.
The firecracker shrimp was alright, but very oily. The blackened chicken sandwich had a nicely toasted pretzel bun and initially looked appetizing, yet the chicken itself was as dry as the Sahara desert. You could tell it was a slightly old pre cooked frozen chicken breast. It wasn’t worth the charge of $15.
We ordered two simple house drinks, which would normally be something offered during social hour. $6-$8 is an average price elsewhere but this place charged $14 per drink. Staff seemed nice but didnt really know what was going on. Also, they serve dinner in the lobby, yet they again charge an exorbitant price. I could eat at Mark’s Prime for about the same cost it felt like.
Not feeling there will be a second trip to this location unless I am getting a free room with the bill.
