Had perfection hopes but still a 4 out of 5 star overall. Great place for Terrible Haute overall tho. Its worth the visit, but I wasnt that impressed with the service for as many people on staff and the no support for military or police makes me a bit weary of who owns this place. Its still a place you can get good food and at a decent price. Soup and salad was in line with expectations and nothing spectacular but still good. Was disappointed with the drinks just not on par with expectations for 12-14$ each. Tasted just like a pina colada without saying it. I can recommend you give it a try but stick with the tacos because I saw someone else order them – seems like the thing to get here. Looked spectacular! My meal pick of a Caesar salad and soup just didn’t have the flame I needed.

We were in town on other business and stopped in for a bite of lunch. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was excellent. My wife had the California Roll Flatbread. I had the Tweet-loaf Melt (meatloaf sandwich). We shared a Bavarian pretzel as well.
I don’t get to say this often, but this place is one of those spots that I really enjoyed going to for a bite and will definitely be back for more.

I went in as part of a group, I think there were 11 of us. They put us in our own little room so it was fairly quiet in there and that was pretty awesome! Our server was great she took our drink orders and then came back a little bit later and took our food order. I really enjoyed the cocktail I had, it had coffee liqueur and Baileys and cream and a few other things and it was delicious. I also really enjoyed my lunch I had the glazed salmon with rice and veggies. I would certainly order this meal again. I look forward to the next time I go back Terre Haute way.

Wow! So glad we stopped here while traveling through town. Atmosphere is great and the seating is comfortable. Our table ordered a Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese, the OG flatbread, the crab Rangoon flatbread, an old fashioned, and a fall-oma. (A Paloma with maple, caramel, and cinnamon) Our sever was wonderful and the kitchen was fast. This will be a must-do when passing through the area.

I was passing through town and saw this restaurant was highly rated. I’ve never been to the city and was just looking for a good place to eat. This establishment exceeded all my expectations. I’ve worked in a restaurant before and you can immediately feel the atmosphere here: open, welcoming, and vibrant. It was absolutely full on this Tuesday night 1/27/26. Sitting down near the bar alone, I was immediately greeted and served by one of the bartenders. There was primarily one bearded gentleman with a Purdue hat who took my orders, but at least 3 others delivered my food and checked in with me. The food was excellent, I had a burger and broccoli and it was delicious. But I was blown away by the staff and atmosphere. It was like everyone knew everyone. And even “strangers” were treated the same. The staff was attentive, fast, and driven, yet still being very personable to all the patrons. You have something special very here, something I wish I experienced when I waited tables. I even told them so in a note on my receipt. Keep up the great work. I will go out of my way to come here again!

The Terminal Public House was such a pleasant surprise! The menu has an impressive variety of options — honestly, it was tough to pick just one entree because everything looked so good. I ended up trying the Hippie Wings (breaded cauliflower) along with two entrees: the Poke Nachos and the Southwest Salad. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented.
The cocktail menu was just as exciting, with several creative options for each type of liquor. I went with the Strawberry Basil Smash, which was sweet, refreshing, and perfectly balanced.
Service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and my food came out surprisingly fast. The atmosphere ties it all together: an upscale vintage vibe that feels modern, clean, and welcoming.
Overall, The Terminal Public House is a spot I’m definitely looking forward to visiting again.

The steak quesadilla was delicious. The service was top notch, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Easy late 90’s and early 2000’s rock was playing. Highly recommend

An absolute gorgeous atmosphere with the best staff. I can’t give Jess at the bar enough credit. Not only are her cocktails amazing every time, but her smile and energy is contagious. Such a great place
