I’ve wanted to experience this establishment for years and I was finally able to do that for my daughters 50th Birthday Celebration. With 14 of her closest friends we were able to pull off the surprise of a lifetime. The Teapot on Wheels was the perfect venue. The staff set up the most beautiful room for this occasion. They were very accommodating, friendly, and professional. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It was a time that will be cherished and remembered always. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment for any occasion. They also are a venue for weddings, where the grounds are breathtakingly gorgeous.

Thanks to the staff for adding to a beautiful day for my daughter on this blessed milestone in her life. ❤️

I can’t rave enough about this place! I celebrated my 23rd birthday here with my 2-year-old daughter, and it was such a delightful experience. Understanding how young children can be in restaurants, our server Danny went above and beyond by offering my daughter her own teapot and crackers to keep her entertained, along with a bowl of cucumber slices—her absolute favorite! The atmosphere was enchanting, the food was exquisite, and the tea was truly top-notch. I would give it an 11/10 and can’t wait to return. The decor is beautifully unique, making it a fantastic spot for capturing memorable photos!

Really disappointed with our visit today. We drove 25 minutes with our 5-year-old twins and their grandparents after hearing great things about the crepes. When we walked in at 1:00, the restaurant was nearly empty, but the staff member told us she couldn’t seat us because a group was coming at 1:30.

There was absolutely time to seat a family for a quick meal, or at least offer us the option with a warning that the table would be needed later. Instead, we were turned away from a mostly empty restaurant.
We never got to try the food, but based on the lack of customer accommodation, we won’t be returning.

Edit : Still the same classy, attentive and very personal service. We took this route this time to specifically stop here 🙂 Call ahead, to check for hours and reservations, especially if you have a bigger group.

We were cruising on I 5 and a chanced exit to drive along Rogue river brought us here!

Everything here is top notch, the attentive and ever cheerful staff, the location ( between I 5 and the River and foothills of an evergreen mountain!), the food and absolute spread of teas from around the world. This place takes tea tasting to whole new level, with pre warmed mugs, pots, and a timer so you could steep the tea for a perfect brew! For the sheer experience of just that, it was worth it.

I also tried the Hibiscus tea, made out of real, dried flowers, and the sticky toffee pudding and orange crepes were out of the world. The pics cant do justice. This would fit right into any place in England, the cafe, food, decor and environment:) A must stop on your travels.

Food – Flavor and portions 5/5
Location – Postcard Perfect 5/5
Service – Exceptional 5/5
Ambiance – Relaxing and Inviting 4.5/5
Cleanliness- 5/5 including squeaky clean restrooms

We hope to stop by on our next trip to/ from Crater Lake. Kudos to the entire team on a wonderfully well executed concept

LOVED THIS PLACE SO MUCH!! I did high tea with my great-grandparents in England when I was much younger and coming here recreated that experience with my own children. It was an absolute delight from start to finish. The surrounding gardens were so lush and beautiful, the food and tea were dainty and delicious, everyone dressed up and wore the big fancy hats. It was just a completely magical afternoon and was worth every penny. Definitely one of the highlights of my family’s vacation and I can’t wait to experience it again.

Oh my gosh! Very delish beer batter fish. Clam chowder should be award-winning. And blueberry tea plus sweeter taste like you are eating fresh sweet blueberries. The French fries are good, have a great texture, but are too salty for me and my husband. I would say that’s why 4 stars and not Five. The staff is super kind and efficient. A new front deck would be nice to enjoy the river while drinking the fabulous teas and eating the delicious food. We are telling our friends and massive family members.

It was lovely! Myself and two friends went to enjoy high tea, and we loved it. We adored the venue, the staff was so sweet, and the service was phenomenal on top of the food being to die for! Not to mention all of the tea options which were loose leaf and not tea bags. I’m in love!

tl;dr- super cute tea shop with good tea options and delicious sandwiches and pastries.

You have to call ahead with reservations, where you’ll then be asked about dietary restrictions. DO THIS AHEAD OF TIME! Do not leave it for the last minute because this place is popular on Friday and Saturday.

The tea service was nice and they were fine when my companion asked to change teas since she wasn’t enjoying her first choice. Tea service is $30 per person and includes a cup of pasta salad, a tart-sized quiche, three finger sandwiches, two small scones, a small cake, a cookie, some fruit, and chocolate mousse.
The sandwiches were sizeable compared to other tea services I’ve gone to, and I left feeling EXTREMELY full. The cucumber was sliced extremely thin on the classic must-have cucumber dill sandwiches. The Queen’s Currant chicken sandwich wasn’t my favorite, but mostly because it was rather bland. The scones were EXTREMELY soft and moist, served with Devonshire cream, lemon curd, and raspberry jam.

The service was well done. From what I could overhear, they do three sessions of meals a day at 11am, 1PM, and 4PM. So you will only get a table for those times. All of the waiters will come to your table, check your tea levels, and make sure you are doing well.

The owners did a LOT of super cute decorating from top to bottom to create a fun tea-themed experience. Cute chandeliers, tea cups and pot decor, the whole kit and kaboodle. The waitresses that came to us all day were also wearing black maid outfits with white aprons. Which I think was just so cute and a small touch that added greatly to the experience.

My LARGEST complaint would have to be that it would occasionally get very loud in the dining rooms because of all the chatter, which in the end isn’t a terrible thing, or something the owners can do much about so it doesn’t affect their score.

I am very happy with this experience! I would recommend Teapot on Wheels for fun treat-yourself meals and a brunch with your partners, friends, or family.

Some might be put off by the prices on the menu, but the portions are incredibly generous – you’ll have leftovers! Pozole and fish’n’chips are possibly the best in the valley, and I’ve been around. Looking forward to trying the crepes next time, and to sample the extensive tea selection.

Fantastic service despite being extremely busy. Completely worth the drive all the way from Medford area.

This was a wonderful place to enjoy time with people you love as you share a pot of tea. The food was absolutely amazing. I could tell it was all made from scratch. It was a great high tea experience and would definitely recommend everyone to try it out at least once.
