Food is excellent. The shredded pulled chicken is excellent as well as the accompanying salad. I also had chicken empanadas.. they had a slight spice kick but were delicious.

They have new owners that have been very friendly anytime I’ve been there. If you want to eat and drink at the bar the the bartenders now in place of all been really great plus they have TVs if there’s something good on Sports wise to maybe watch. The dining room is situated away from the bar area bit so you don’t need to deal with that situation if it’s not for you. I thought they’re happy hour prices and selections were very good. I always like supporting people trying to improve upon an existing venue and hopefully others feel the same way and will check this venue out with new ownership.

The Tav’ery has a warm and welcoming vibe with friendly staff. For food- highly recommend the pretzel bites, crab cake, and Cobb salad. The flatbread was just okay, but everything else hit the mark. Bonus points for the outdoor seating option, which is always a plus. A great neighborhood spot to relax and enjoy a casual meal.

The service is excellent friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the burgers are especially top notch. It’s also a great place to relax with a drink, whether you’re stopping in for a casual night out or grabbing a meal with friends. Definitely worth a visit!

I forgot the name of my desert, but it is basically a fruit filled pastry with ice cream on top. I am not a sweets person, but I wanted to indulge and indulge i did. This was absolutely delicious

ate 6 dishes one worse than the next with weird sauces and dry chicken over cooked shortribs and coconut shrimp frozen and then deep fried at best. Brand new owners new chef does not leave confidence that this change will make this place anything better than what it is. Clearly see why they are dog friendly

This is my go to spot for a good cocktail and amazing food. I always get the fried calamari with an aperol spritz and sit on their little patio and always have an amazing experience. Genuinely some of the best calamari I’ve ever had, the service is impeccable and the place is run by a local married couple. Brunch here is also amazing, but there’s no better place for cocktails and appetizers!

We visited The Tav-ery for the third time recently — and sadly, for the third time, we left dissatisfied. They want to project a high-end atmosphere, but the food speaks of a locale far less glamorous than they intend. The prices are outrageously high, yet neither the food nor the presentation justify them.
My partner ordered the mahi-mahi tacos, but they literally fell apart — the moment she lifted them off the plate they came undone in her hand. I ordered the “short rib,” only to be served a beef chuck stew in its disguise. It was so drenched in an overly sweet sauce that it sent my eyes and stomach into a loop of disgust. The presentation overall was sloppy, colors off, plating messy, altogether borderline grotesque.
After three visits, the inconsistency and over-promise make this place not worth the premium they demand. Frankly, the owner should consider hiring a chef who understands flavor balance, proper presentation and who knows the difference between meat cuts; e.g. short rib vs beef chuck.

What a great Palm Sunday! 10 of had a reservation for 1:00. The food, the service, everything about the place was excellent. I had the codfish with veggies (no carbs for me). Delicious! One in our group needed a gluten free meal. Not a problem. . . . I will certainty come back. I’d give this restaurant 10 stars if that were possible!
