Stopped at the Iron Horse for lunch. Lots of burger options . I chose the jersey burger with an egg. Evan got a plain burger. Nolan decided on spicy chicken and two other salads . The billion $$$$ Bacon was fantastic and same for cheese curds. Thank you for a superb lunch !! Great Service too.

Solid stuff. The buffalo wings are exactly what you want with some good heat attached. The crab cheddar biscuits were soft and had great flavor. Really enjoyed both. No frills caesar salad did not disappoint, either.
I go to the craft shows near the train station every so often and always wondered what the best local food spot is, and I think I found it. Will be back in the future to explore the menu.

their own horse has been around for generations. It was a well-known great place to go 20 years ago. It had slipped in recent times was taken over by new management or new ownership not sure but the food is back to a very nice standard and they clean the place up very nicely, so once again it’ll be a pleasure to go there on a regular basis.

I haven’t been here since high school and I know they did a major face-lift so I wanted to check it out. The dining room atmosphere was pleasant looking with very dim lighting and rustic decor. The menu is a tad pricey but food presentation is lovely. The totchos and pretzel appetizers were excellent, but a bit salty. The classic burger and veggie burger (falafel) were good but also quite salty. As the dining room filled up, it became very, very hot and stuffy – so much that another patron asked them to open one of the side doors to let in fresh air. There were also suddenly a lot of different tables of screaming kids in the Sun night dinner rush – it was so loud in the echoing dining area, it sounded like a Chuck E Cheese and we suddenly couldn’t wait to get our check. The seating was a bit uncomfortable with all of us stating it separately to each other after we left. The servers were very friendly and attentive, but as the dining room got crowded we had to wait quite a bit to check out. Overall, it was ok.

I recently hosted a 50th birthday dinner at Tavern @ Iron Horse and could not have been more satisfied with the experience. The general manager, Jackie Russ, was an absolute standout. She went above and beyond to ensure our evening was perfect, from coordinating the menu to making sure every detail was exactly as we had envisioned. Her professionalism and welcoming demeanor set the tone for the entire night.The food was absolutely delicious. I chose chicken milenase, pork chop and hanger steak for the dinner selections. I have been receiving rave reviews from our guests. The service was impeccable, with our server being both attentive and friendly without ever being intrusive.Thanks to the incredible team, and especially Jackie Russ, our 50th birthday celebration was a seamless and memorable event. We highly recommend Tavern @ Iron Horse for any special occasion.

Stuffed burgers were good, although mine was a little overcooked. Seems like restaurants do not want to give you an extremely rare burger.
The best French onion soup. Almost as good as my husband’s!
We ate outside – weather was nice and not too hot. There’s a lovely park across the street – Memorial Park maintained by the local VFW – and its not only beautifully laid out but carefully maintained. Clean as could be. As it should be, especially since it’s dedicated to all the men in town who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Every war since WWI is represented.
Great place to walk off your dinner. Definitely will go again.

Very crowded. Nowhere to sit while waiting for a table. Drinks not poured for us. Got handed bottles. Waitress said they don’t have enough clean glasses. Not cheap, so expected a little better service and hospitality. However, the singer was the greatest! He socialized and entertained. That made the night worthwhile.
