This was our first time dining at The Tavern on Central. We went on Friday night around 6:00 and and business was brisk! We had a short wait but it was pleasant especially as we ran into an old friend at the bar! I imagine that the owner had this in mind when he designed the restaurant… The bar area is a great place to catch up with friends or to sit and have a drink or dine. The beverage menu offered some unique cocktails but it was so cold outside, I opted for a glass of Pinot noir to warm me up! The dining menu had lots of different options. The Korean chicken sandwich came highly recommended by our friend as well as numerous weight staff. My husband opted for that and it came as advertised… Definitely had a bit of heat. I chose the red snapper (which comes with two sides )which was a really nice treat at this time of year! It was delicious!! We split a chocolate mousse for dessert. It was yummy but the serving is on the smaller side so I would suggest getting your own . Really happy to have another dining choice in Franklin!

We had a wonderful Christmas reunion at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. My partner suffers from acne, and her skin is sensitive to greasy or heavy foods, but the dishes here were clean, fresh, and light, which made a noticeable difference. The service was warm and attentive throughout. Truly a memorable Christmas celebration. I highly recommend it!

There was a wait time for a Saturday night but not bad. We were brought to a standing table in the back and were able to order drinks. Shortly afterwards we were given a table. Although we had a little bit of a wait our dinner was served and was very enjoyable. Everything was delicious .
Great place for dinner with friends. Management greeted us and made sure everything was up to par. The Tavern on Central was overall a great experience and I would recommend visiting them.

WOW – This is THE spot in Franklin. Had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell care goes into every dish. The staff were welcoming and attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Every dish we tried was delicious, especially the chef’s specials. Great value for the quality and portion sizes. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends!

The food was phenomenal, steak tips cooked perfectly, fish and chips, best I’ve had! We had to wait because of the snowstorm, but it was SO worth it!
Unfortunately, the bartender seemed way more interested in talking to friends and doing dishes. Kudos to the bar back with the red hair, if it wasn’t for her we would have had to eat our meal without a drink.

This place was absolutely delicious and the staff were incredible. I didn’t have a reservation but was sat immediately, our orders were taken quickly, and our food didn’t take long to arrive at all. The food is absolutely delicious and I will definitely be eating here again!
