We moved to Queenstown eight years ago. We have eaten at The Tavern four or five times since the remodel and re-launch last year.

I just finished my Sunday brunch here and told Caitlyn (who did an outstanding job taking care of us), that this was the best breakfast I have had since moving to Maryland. I don’t say that lightly…THE best breakfast I’ve had.

So yes…we’ll be back.

I had a chili dog that was spectacular and a cold beer recommended by the bartender who was very friendly and helpful. All around good meal. I would definitely come back here again

Food: The food here is what you would expect from a golf course tavern. Nothing spectacular, but still good food. Even though they don’t have a dedicated kids menu, there are plenty of kid friendly options.

Service: From the moment we walked in the door we received efficient, kind, and thoughtful service. Although they do not have high chairs, the boosters seats they have are great! My 14 month old did great in the booster. They strap to the dining chair, so no worries about safety. Our server was very kind and efficient, bringing water and menus to the table immediately after helping us with the booster seat. Her attentiveness was perfect throughout our meal. There was another gentleman who served us as well. I am not sure if he is the cook or a manager, but he was amazing! He asked how our toddler’s meal needed to be cut up before bringing it to the table and even turned one of the many TVs to Bluey (a cartoon) for our son. He was also very attentive throughout our meal, bringing refills and extra napkins as needed.

Atmosphere: We went early on a Saturday evening and there were several golfers at the bar enjoying some beverages after a round of golf and a couple or two also at the bar when we arrive. We opted for a table since the bar isn’t toddler friendly. It is a fairly small space so we could see several TVs from where we were seated. We did sit near the door that leads out to the course, so golfers were coming and going throughout our meal but they were all very considerate and even greeted our son with an occasional “hey buddy!”

This was a very unexpected place to find such wonderful service, especially for our 14 month old son. We will definitely be going back often!

Love coming to this area. We come to KI a lot. First time at this place, enjoyed a great breakfast, the service was the absolute best in the area and the bacon was fantastic.

The Tavern is really a 19th hole at the Queenstown Harbor Golf Course, but is by far, the best joint within a 8 mile radius. Simple burgers and sandwiches done very well and an amply stocked bar. I wish the course were more visible from the inside, but the new building is nice.
If you are at the Queenstown outlets and need a break or a place to hang while your better half shops, I highly recommend it.
