The place is very small but cute. When we first got there, all 4 staff looked at us but no one could greet us or even smile. The food was very good!

I had went in there because I had ordered a double patty melt, I walked down to pick it up I decided to sit there and have a Long Island, the owner lady was extremely rude to me because I have cancer and my teeth aren’t so good calling me a drug addict which I’ve never done any drugs in my life, I was nothing but friendly I knew a few of the other people that were in there it was kind of nice to be out of the house this lady shamed me for taking care of my parents as they passed away, said it’s people like me that ruin the world because everybody else is taking care of me or something on that line she was 3 sheets to the wind even her own employees asked her to stop I finished my drink I got my bag of food I turned around I thanked her for the split pea soup and I walked out and I will never go back there in my life again

Loved the old western but not old west decor, but the star of the show is Tina! She greeted us quickly and was very friendly and understanding of food allergies. She read labels on their food to ensure I could safely eat. I had a hamburger salad, yep salad with a burger on top, and tator-tots. The burger was so well prepared that there was no dressing needed. Loved everything about the place. Also, they have gluten-free options that ARE safe from cross-contamination. Just ask and inform them of allergies at the start so they can help you!!! We visited after a cold hike at nearby Glacial Lakes State Park and had the best patty melts in the known universe. We’re visiting again over Labor Day weekend and you KNOW we’ll be back for the patty melts.

7 of us went to the Tavern for a early supper and the food was great and the service was superb. We all ate something different and everything was great! Everything is also reasonably priced!
