A proper shepherds pie. I went here with a bunch of fireman about 15 of us. Not a single one of us got a bad meal. Staff were excellent as big of a table we had the waiter was spot on. I will definitely be going back here very soon.

The food was good, with a nice variety to choose from. Daily specials, pizzas, pasta dishes as well as high end dining. I had the seafood platter, others enjoyed the fish fry as well as a pasta entree. The portion sizes were very large, so bring your appetite. The finger food appetizers looked amazing. The bar area opened up to a nice dining room. Indoor and outdoor seating available. It appeared as if they were understaffed, so the service being delayed was understandable. We will make this a normal stop to try other things on the menu.

I’ve been there many times with friends for drinks and or dinner. The best prime rib around. Sometimes there is entertainment to with no cover charge, nice. When people go out to dinner they should not be in a hurry, go to a fast food restaurant for fast food. Of course if it’s busy things take longer, it’s time to enjoy and talk, just saying. As for the cost, all things cost more than even last month. What’s also nice is that the owner is there a lot and keeps things going when he can.

Wow! Unbelievable good pizza. All homemade on site by the owner. Other menu items were super duper. We had to come back for a few dinners to get to the items we wanted to try. All perfect. Great atmosphere. Prices reasonable for the quality food. Definitely recommend coming here.

Went there last week with my wife and another couple and I cant speak for the other couple but I had the roast beef sandwich and it was absolutely horrible, about the driest meat I have ever had I even tried the gravy type stuff that came with it. I should have just sent it back. My wife got a fishfry and was pretty. soggy. The waiter was great and the place was very nice but for the money i was very dissapointed in the food.

Got a to go order and which had multiple boxes and bags and was told everything was there. Got home, and there was one order completely missing, add ons that were paid for not included. Despite other issues we had, my main complaint is the missing stuff I was CHARGED for. Called to ask for money back only for what was missing and told I needed to send pictures of the missing stuff? Make that make sense. I could have literally sent a picture of everything missing. Ask to speak to a manager and no one would talk to me except a girl who said she didn’t believe me (I get she’s young, customer service needs improvement). Over $100 in food and I was missing about $12 worth, if I was lying I would have said it was something else like the item that were $20. Let’s be real here

Took a drive to Hamlin and decided to stop for dinner. The place was clean and cute. Good service too. The chicken parm and meatball parm were both very good. We are pretty picky about tomato sauce and usually don’t love it when we order it out but this sauce was quite tasty. The only negatives were that they should polish their water glasses before putting them on the table, also it should state in the menu that the steamed clams are tiny. I was expecting regular steamed clams, so that was disappointing. Would come again!
Update! Came here again. It was so good. I wish they were closer. Try the French onion soup.

This place has the best pizza in the Rochester area. All the food is excellent honestly. Dealing with the city driving or overpriced east side restaurants just isn’t worth it when you have a gem like tavern 19 in the quiet Hamlin village.

I recently visited Tavern 19 with my daughter for dinner, and unfortunately, this experience didn’t live up to the standard I’ve come to expect from this restaurant. The decor hasn’t changed in years and feels a bit outdated, which is fine if the food and service make up for it, but this time they didn’t.
The service was friendly but a little slow, and the food didn’t impress me as it has in the past. Compared to my previous visits, there’s definitely been a change in how the food is prepared, and it didn’t have the same quality or flavor I remember.
To make matters worse, there was a weird insect on our table, which was unsettling and not something I’ve ever encountered here before. It was disappointing, especially because my past visits have always been perfect.
I’m hoping this was just an off night because Tavern 19 has been a favorite in the past. I’ll give them another chance, but this visit was far from ideal.

Overall the food was okay. Honesty I was pretty disappointed paying $13 for a ‘black & blue’ burger to have it come as a plain burger with a small cup of very running fake blue cheese on the side. If you going to put nothing else on your burger (first time ever not getting bacon on a black and blue) at least have real and good blue cheese! Didn’t even taste like blue cheese. Mozz sticks were and my wife liked her chicken French. Looks like a nice place to sit down and eat at someday. Edit: Also my wife’s $20 dinner didn’t come with a side. No veggies or anything like that. That was also a surprise. I guess I just gotta read the menus better!
