I just moved here and wanted to find a place to have dinner. Outdoor seating is always a draw for me, and I enjoyed the scenery and watching people going about their business. The server was very friendly and pleasantly helpful. She recommended the Wagyu burger because multiple people had said it melted in their mouth. I was sold, and melt in my mouth it did! I ordered with no truffle oil and she offered to put it in the side so I could taste it. Great idea because I really enjoyed it. The fries were really good but would have been even more enjoyable if salted a bit less. They had great flavor but definitely over salted. I forgot the name of my cocktail but it was delicious and the server said it was a popular choice. The bread was fresh and chewy, but I’d skip the Caesar salad next time. It was very, very basic and not worth it. It would have been nice if the other salad options came in a smaller size. The delicious lemon blueberry dessert I took to go was well worth it! I was too full after stuffing that entire, perfectly cooked med-rare burger down my gullet to have dessert while there, and I’m glad I didn’t pass up taking one to go. Perfect midnight nosh. I would definitely go back, and if given the same option to sit anywhere, will choose a more secluded spot so as to not be subjected to a patron at the next table spouting off the ENTIRE time about politics, making sure anyone within earshot could hear. Overall, I really enjoyed myself. I stopped at the bar afterwards to finish my cocktail and the bartender and another patron were very friendly. We all chatted and the evening was exactly what I was looking for.

This place is a nice little bar with some decent food. Nothing fancy, but everything we ordered was great. Service is offered by the bar tender and was very good. They use to have specials on burgers and beer which are very good. Small but worth a stop and will not break the bank.

The Tavern was a nice neighborhood place, but they advertise being handicap accessible and they definitely are not. Also, be prepared, they are cash only. And there is no a/c. The food was not bad, although a little well done.

My group of 9 came here on a Friday in October around 230pm. There were maybe 15 others in the bar. As time went on, more people trickled in. The music was just a tad too loud for me, but that’s ok. I could still hear my friends at the table.

The waitress/bartender was a rock star. She was very attentive and friendly. One time she heard us talk about a drink and when I got to the bar to order it, it just appeared. Ha. I was amazed.

Other people in the bar were friendly. One in my group just had a birthday and someone else came over and began to chat with us about it.

We were only there for an hour, but it was such a nice day drinking experience. We didn’t have any food. I’ll definitely visit again if I’m in the area.

Nice “dive bar” place. Small restaurant and bar with lots of Adirondack type decor.

Burgers are really good. Great value, too.

Good food, good service, nice bar service and draft beers as well.

It’s dated, but gets the job done for a decent lunch.

Great place, but they need
to serve food later than 3 or 4pm. Menu is great when it’s available…

Great place for locals, friendly with decent food and beverages. Only issue was the strong cooking smell from the kitchen was inescapable.

Basic snowmobiling bar, food was good, all domestic beers available not sure of imports(I had a corona) lunch is basically burgers, but that’s all we were after anyways. 6 out of ten. If it was the only place for miles…10 out of 10.

They make a great burger for lunch only $5, with a variety of toppings like several cheeses; swiss, American, cheddar, as well as raw onions, sauteed onions, hot peppers. Large choice of beers. Highly recommend!
