We had dinner here the other night and really enjoyed the experience. The French Onion Soup had excellent flavor—though I personally would have loved the cheese broiled a bit more for those crispy edges. The Maryland Crab & Shrimp Soup was outstanding; I order it anywhere I find it, and this was easily the best version I’ve ever had. It deserves a permanent spot on the menu.

The Fried Chicken was tasty, though the pieces were on the smaller side, which our bartender did mention ahead of time. The fries were hot and crispy.

The Chicken Pot Pie had a nice puff pastry crust and a molten filling with good flavor, but I felt it needed more chicken and vegetables, as the thicker sauce tended to overpower the dish.

We ate at the bar and received great service, especially considering how busy they were. We’ll definitely be back.

Firecracker shrimp are amazing! The French onion soup is so tasty with tons of melted cheese on top . My daughter got the boneless wings, she loved them and I got the Pork Italiano which was fantastic, the roll was so fresh and toasted to perfection and the meat was seasoned perfectly. Environment is a bar/restaurant setting. Our waitress was a sweetheart. Overall great experience.

This is my first time in Sea Isle and it’s the offseason so we were a little worried about finding somewhere to eat. Y’all this place did not disappoint! It was very dead as it was lunch during the offseason, but the service was good, they had baseball on the TV, and I had the best quesadilla I’ve ever had in my life. Seriously – order the cheese quesadilla.

Very disappointed!! I was recommended to try this place out so I figured I give it a try—so I go online to their page, check out their menu, and call to order some boneless wings, coconut shrimp, order of crab fries, order of reg fries—well after placing my order I received a call back asking if I meant chicken fingers—long story short they claimed the menu wasn’t up to date and changed and they no longer make boneless wings and only zingers (chic fingers) so I replaced my boneless wings with the zingers—when I pick up my food the prices were completely different (much higher) then the online menu and the food was horrible— the fries were soggy when I asked for them extra crispy….chicken zingers were really tough….bad experience all around

Friendly service, generous portions. The fish and chips were excellent, the preparation was picture perfect. My salad with chicken and shrimp was very tasty but I wish salad dressing was served on the side.

My husband and I have been a few times and the food is hit or miss. The first few times the wings were good. The last two times, they were undercooked and gross. The french onion is always good. The sandwiches hit or miss. My biggest complaint is how expensive it is.

Nice tavern and the food was very good. They had a good selection of standard tavern victuals along with steak and seafood.

The atmosphere is very casual with table seating in the back. Highly recommended for a quick but very good meal.

Staff is friendly but food is very much hit or miss leaning on miss. Really bothersome though is short counts on mix drinks and then adding a “tall” charge to your bill. We get a vodka and tonic and they only use a pint size glass. Several times there we’ve seen the bartender pour just a 3 count (3/4 oz) in a talk glass. They charge $8 then add $4 for the tall glass. You essentially get soda for $12. They need to change this.

New owners are crushing it! Great menu and food is excellent! Wings had us going back for more the next week. “The Britt” roast beef sandwich was so good I got it the last 3 times before we had the wings. Great wine choices with a Rose arriving in a chilled glass after a day at the beach taste extraordinary! Staff is great as well. Can’t say enough about the dramatic change from Seaville Tavern. WE LOVE IT!!

Another bar we wanted to try the wings because we heard they were good. We thought they were standard. Although, came with a good portion of blue cheese. The beer was exceptionally cold which adds points to the experience. The bartender was very nice and attentive. It’s a good stop if you are waiting out traffic into the jersey shore.
