Loved that I could order online and it was fresh and ready. The space is bright and sunny making the atmosphere great for a quick breakfast. I walked in tons of guys standing perhaps waiting for their food as well. I was greeted with “good morning “. Great start but then nothing not “did you order online how can I help you” none of those and I stood there like ok now what 4 people behind the counter nothing said I watched them place a bag to the side, then I felt my phone alert me that I’d picked up my order…. But I hadn’t. I brought to the attention of a person at the register she’d been standing there tapping her nails. My food was hot the atmosphere was great but I didn’t feel warm and welcoming. I’ve been to other locations as well and they are always warm welcoming and busy. I will always give it another go because the food is great. I’m sure its just team members getting used to new guests and bugs being worked out. I wish well for this location as it’s on my way to work

Tried the Tip & Crunch tortilla wrap. Great flavor and big portion of steak tips. Menu looks awesome, can’t wait to try their other unique meals. Only bad thing is I didn’t know how good this place was sooner. Check them out!

Wow, like everyone else, I agree – eggcellent! Friendly, helpful staff and really, really good food. It’s hard to decide what to have! I choose the Tom Snood which is a turkey sando but on grilled multi-grain bread with cran mayo – YUMMMMM. Can’t wait to return to try other items. Keep up the great work and the smiles really are appreciated 😉

First time trying The Tasty Yolk, and I’ve always heard good things. The Shelton location is just minutes from my house, and my wife and I decided to give it a try today—amazed.
I got the Tinga Tinga burrito, and it’s going to be hard for me to have any desire to try anything else. What an amazing concoction. My wife got The Pig and said it was the best breakfast sandwich she’s ever had. Local competition definitely has something to worry about.
One small bit of feedback: we ordered through the app and were given a 12:10 pickup time (about 30 minutes from ordering, totally acceptable). However, we received a text less than 10 minutes later saying it was ready—about 20 minutes early. Luckily we live close, so it wasn’t a big deal.
This will absolutely be our go-to spot on the weekends. Great job, guys!

First visit to New brick-and-mortar in Shelton. What was once a depressing hot dog stand has been transformed; all new interior and the consistently good food Tasty Yolk is known for.
Had an exceptional Steak and cheese. Ample cheese over chunks, not paper thin slices, of beef. Onions were caramelized perfectly, fried peppers, all on a sturdy roll. Great meal. Staff are very professional, fast service

It’s become an obsession for our family. I order pickup and leave my office in Orange head to Shelton and home to Woodbridge. The ladies up front are letter perfect and treat strangers like friends. My first 18 sandwiches were pretty darn stellar. You can customize your order on line. The breads are all fresh and delicious. So many of the fixins are homemade. You can get breakfast sandwiches for lunch or, now, dinner! They’ve got any and all competition beat imo. TY to TY for being there! I’m here for it!
