I understand that things happen, and this kind of great customer service shows how much they care. Definitely worth returning for both the food and the way they value their customers.

Of course I had to get the bacon pancakes.There is no seating inside. It is a take out only restaurant. It is on the small side inside. It is very clean. The service was pretty quick. I liked the fact you can watch them cook your go food. Since the grill is in eye view. The food is amazing! The price was really good. My friend loved what she ordered. The best pancakes I have had in a very long time. It was nice sitting outside. I wish they weren’t such a long ride cause I would love to go back again. After eating this around 915ish this am I was full all day until evening time. If you haven’t gone you should.

My boyfriend and I ordered from here for the first time and I can’t believe we never did before. The crunch wrap was so good I only wish it could be bigger we will definitely be ordering again! If you have not had the crunch wrap it’s honestly a mouth full of flavors that make you do one of those “oh my god this is amazing” faces. Prices are extremely reasonable. Lots of add on options for specific items. I’m so happy I found this place.

This place has terrific breakfast food and wraps. I ordered a wrap they call The Slenderizer and it was absolutely delicious, but honestly every single breakfast sandwich on the menu looks incredible. Don’t hesitate to grab and go from this gem centrally located in Branford. You won’t regret it.

Pancakes and soup were very good. Bacon diddnt taste like anything but I did come 30 minutes before closing. Guy in frost was really nice. I would recommend this restaurant. I love their menu it’s different then most.

I visited The Tasty Yolk in Branford, CT and while the food itself was good, the experience was disappointing. Ordering was also frustrating — the system is confusing, and the staff seemed to struggle with getting it right.
Most concerning is the pricing: I was charged $27 for a simple gluten-free wrap with six egg whites. That’s outrageous for a breakfast item, regardless of whether the eggs are organic. It feels unjustified and makes it hard to return as a regular customer.
If you’re looking for reasonable, fairly priced, quality breakfast, this isn’t the place. The food tastes fine, but until they get their food costs, pricing, and logistics figured out, I cannot recommend The Tasty Yolk.

Lived off this during a remodel. Food is soooo good. Love the variety and always try the specials. Never had a bad one. I’m slowly working my way through the menu. Everything is outstanding and they accommodate allergies well. Can order online which is great.

Now to the food. Holy. Moly. I am a simple gal, bacon egg and cheese are usually my go to, so i got the Pig and added tomato. My friend got the Fatone.
Easily and hands down, the best egg sandwich i have ever eaten. I happily enjoyed that with a smashed potato on the side (amazing, especially dipped in their spicy aoili) and an iced coffee. Im excitedly waiting for my child to go to bed so i can dig into the gigantic chocolate chip cookie bar i also couldn’t resist in peace! Wonderful place, wonderful service, wonderful food. We will be back!

Had a small issue with the order, the manager immediately made it right by offering to remake and refund- Good atmosphere and friendly staff willing to make things right (hard to come by these days!). Try to local kambucha!
