Great spot for lunch or dinner. We went for a late lunch and the place was pretty quiet. Sat at the bar and had a great time catching up with friends. Drinks were awesome as was the pizzas. We got the BBQ, Meat, and Chicken Pesto with BBQ being our favorite. Service was great and the bartender was super friendly. When this place is busy I think it would have a fun trendy vibe. Will be back again…

Everything was great. Our server was Arthur and he explained their concept well. It’s actually the first restaurant in Traverse City that I felt the food was worth paying the price for. Both of us will be back. We had the goat cheese croquettes (10/10), steak skewers (would pass on this again, but good), baked brie, the chicken entree (very lemony but was loved by the person), the special of the night – Waygu coulotte (50/50), and creme brulee. Also, the Strawberry Smash drink was amazing.

What a fantastic place for TC❣️ Lucky us who live here. My first visit and is was incredible. The level of detail put in every dish (and drinks) is out of this world. Such wonderful selections on the menu. All so well thought out. Can’t wait to go back & try more items. And, thank you Arthur for the incredible service. His knowledge of the menu, drinks & wine was top notch. It was so refreshing to be helped by such a restaurant professional. Highly recommend. You’ll love your meal.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Tasting Room. We had a reservation for 7:30 pm on a Friday night but weren’t seated until 7:50. The hostess apologized for the wait and said they had been very busy. Our waiter, Arthur, also apologized. Things did seem to run a little slow but we had a wonderful time. Arthur was very knowledgeable about their cocktails. When I asked for their Lavendar Lady with vodka rather than gin he made a specific vodka recommendation. And he was right. It was delicious. All of our cocktails were really good. We also did a Spanish wine flight that was great. We opted to go with the “tastings” rather than the entrees. Our favorite was the goat cheese croquettes! We got the beef and chicken skewers, but they weren’t hot when they arrived. We had a three year old with us and he was very happy with the cheese pizza! Arthur recommended the chef’s German chocolate cheesecake for dessert, and it was excellent. We also had creme brûlée and an ice Cream cookie. All great endings to a great meal. We will definitely come back.

The wood-fired meatballs were excellent and very flavorful! A friend had the grilled skewers and enjoyed that too. I don’t remember the name of the drink. It had gin and lavender in it and was just as tasty as it was beautiful! Service was great!

New try for restaurant week. Was hoping to be impressed, but was a bit disappointed.

I know it’s putatively more about the drink options here but the food is fantastic! Lots of great small plates to share, favorite so far is the baked Brie.

We stopped in and were immediately seated. Cocktail menu looked good so we ordered a couple cocktails and they were both excellent. The mushroom pizza was fantastic and the calamari was decent. The dipping sauce for the calamari was excellent. Overall a very good experience and we will definitely be back again. Although everything was on the higher end of pricing.

Went here on our last night of vacation. Our server, Callie, was incredible! Very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about her job! The food was outstanding! The steaks cooked to perfection, the soft shell crab (chefs special) was top notch. When I’m back in traverse city I will definitely be visiting again!

They have wine flights and tequila flights. It was wonderful talking to Derek the owner and Jimmy the sommelier. I was here a year ago and they didn’t have their liquor license. I also got a glass of wine and of course they served it to me in a riedel glass, I will have to come back and try the food. It sounds amazing. The olive bowl was delicious. I now have two new wines in my repertoire. Thank you for a wonderful day.
