I don’t normally eat Indian food, but I’m very glad we did. The restaurant is tucked away at the back of the square and could probably do with a little updating in decor. However, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Great choices on menu and all served on warm crockery. The meal was flavoursome and tasty and excellent value. I will be eating more Indian food here in the future.

After a small dip last year this year’s visit was back to its normal superb meal and service.
I can not see passed the mixed grill starter and the main curries, rice and Naan are all great. The new extension really adds to the place.

Not terrible, but also not particularly recommended. Got take out and they were almost suspiciously fast. Barely any meats in the curries, and what’s there is quite dry. Curries are oddly sweet and artificially thick. Rogan Josh is mostly some canned tomato sauce. Vindaloo was spicy but not in a satisfying way. Meh, probably won’t try again.

The popadoms weren’t the best and so were the chicken wing starters . Probably give them both 2 out of 5 . The main course of lamb sizzler was however excellent. Also most of the waiters apart from one looked thoroughly miserable .

Absolutely fantastic food. Really welcoming restaurant. Staff very attentive always, even when run off their feet.
Large menu with great variety. Always open to cook special requests wherever possible.
