Taste of India is my favorite restaurant above all else! The owners are very welcoming and friendly! The food is so so so good, and always hot and fresh when it is served. When ordering you can see into the kitchen and watch them cook. The food always has incredible flavor and great spice factor!! It is becoming rare to to go out and have a good experience with the atmosphere, with the food, and with the service. Taste of India knocked all 3 out of the park. It’s family oriented, and you definitely feel very welcomed. They truly go above and beyond, but most importantly, the food was the best Indian food I’ve had, in Eugene by far. Really in general too. Was so fresh. And I have been to all of the Indian estaurants here. Such a good experience and we will be back time again.

Delicious food and friendly staff in a small takeout-style area. The only problem was I asked for “spicy” and my saag wasn’t very spicy! I will have to specify next time I want true INDIAN level spicy! Haha. Overall a great experience

Food was ok. Tendori chicken did not have much flavor and they served only several pieces of drum sticks. No white meat, no thighs, very strange. Onions were served cold and not cooked with chicken. I would not recommend this place for authentic and tasty Indian food, or at least stay away from the Tendori.

I was excited to find multiple varieties of naan on the menu. I didn’t particularly like that you have to order at the counter before you sit down because sometimes I like to add more to the order as I eat. The food was delicious. The setting is a bit cafeteria-like, and the place was empty when I sat down. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, helping to find the right spiciness levels. I’ll just say, as someone who likes spicy food, the food runs hot.
