Decent First Visit, Some Highs and Lows
We stopped by Taste of Brazil around 4:30 PM on a weekend—nice timing since it wasn’t too crowded. I had called ahead and was told the all-you-can-eat option was $40 per adult and $20 for kids under 12. Thankfully, our server was honest and helpful, letting us know that paying by the pound would be a better value for our group, and it definitely was.
The meat selection was impressive, though I couldn’t try everything. The beef was tasty—definitely best enjoyed fresh out of the oven. Unfortunately, the chicken was overly salty. A highlight was the bar in the middle with sides—don’t miss the pickled garlic, it pairs perfectly with the meats.
Service was mixed. We were seated but had to get up and ask for guidance since no one came back to explain the process. It’s mostly self-serve, so keep that in mind. Also, they don’t serve alcohol, but it’s BYOB if you want to bring your own drinks. Another thing to note: gratuity is automatically included in the bill.
Overall, it was a decent first experience—great meats, casual atmosphere, and some room for improvement on service.

I ordered via uber eat today for the first time from this place. I ordered combo CHICKEN, which should have chicken obviously with rice, beans and fries. When I received my order, I opened the box and instead of chicken I found PORK! I was about to throw up from the smell. I called them more than 10 times to let them know they mixed up my order and ask if they can take it back, they never replied and I had to toss the food. First and last time ordering from this place

Real authentic taste from Brazil. Top grade meat grilled by extraordinary Brazilian chef. Price is very reasonable. I live in university city but I’d rather drive 35min to this restaurant.

This place is a hidden Gem, I’m hesitant even writing this review out of selfishness to keep it a secret but they deserve their 5 Stars and then some. Their food is amazing and way better and more authentic than any of the chains around within the city. If you want to support small business and get better food and a more authentic experience give them a shot you will be glad you did.

The price does not match the vibe in there, I’d say they definitely need to either lower their prices or up the fancy. It felt like I was in a random burger spot but I’m paying Brazilian steakhouse prices because that’s what it’s supposed to be, their food tasted good but honestly wasn’t worth it. I got the rodizio experience that was supposed to be like the churrasco thing where they bring the meat to you continuously until you flip your card to red, they didn’t come by nearly enough with not enough options. 100% just going to fogo next time because although it’ll be crowded I know the food and service is well worth the price i pay (and they actually have lamb at fogo and other spots) if this place had lamb it was not brought out

This place is worth to try. It is less expensive than Fogo De Chao but offers the same meat quality. But when I got there the meat was a little over salty, they might put too much salt on that day. Try their top sirloin and filet mignon with grilled pineapple, you will love it. Not only that there are varies meat up for select. They also have a salad bar for extra money, but it worth it. Restroom are clean and thats a plus.

The friendly staff and all of the customers who came in were friendly too! The food was great! My wife and I went two days in a row! I was told to check out the chicken hearts. I don’t speak Portuguese but the lovely cashier and a friend of the staff helped us get all we asked for. The chef agreed to make me chicken hearts and requested that I come back the next day. We came back with our youngest grandson and he enjoyed the food and cakes. Those hearts were so good and tender. I believe succulent is the word!

Just took my son there for his birthday ( he is brasilian and was excited because he hadn’t had brasilian food in a while). We did the all you can eat. The buffet was fresh, clean, everything was delicious! The meats portions were more than generous and all of the staff was SO NICE. Great spot, we will definitely be back!

Service ruined the experience. The food/steak came before a simple glass of WATER. And I had to ask TWICE for it, even after the “waiter” asked what friend and I wanted to drink. Waiter also, initially, didn’t know there was coffee with milk (and sugar!). When we entered, waiter – I think (??) – was trying to speak to us (or was he talking to someone else, or on a Bluetooth call?). If he was talking to us, it sounded like mumbling under his breath. He also didn’t know they served SALAD DRESSING…until he himself spotted it the second that I did, as well.
OK, maybe it was his first day. But this is elementary, basic stuff for an expensive steakhouse.
Friend & I enjoyed the steak/meats. The selection on the buffet was decent and taste was good. Service just absolutely ruined the experience. Def will NOT be coming back nor recommending.
LASTLY, for others: THEY ADD GRATUITY TO THE CHECK! DO NOT (OVER)TIP!

I’ve never seen someone get mad that you want your food cooked well done. I’m paying for it I should be able to get my food prepared anyway I like. Made me stand there and hike he was cooking the meat they serve telling me that it will be done in 5 min while continuing to try to give me half done food like I don’t know what blood looks like eventually the server told me they will never sell well done food. . If you don’t like your food well done it could be ok. I have been here multiple times & it’s always a problem when they bring the food to your table & you say you’re waiting for well done. I swear on my life I’ve never seen the waiters get mad. If you only want to serve food the way you do maybe you should give it away for free then you can serve it how you want
