Eh, masa was kinda hard and not much meat filling. Tamales only come with pork meat, no other options.
Tamale plate looked like Enchiladas/ Frito pie instead. Rice and beans tasted like out of a package and can. Maybe times are tough cause of COVID?

I was excited to try these tamales because i had heard such great reviews. I ordered a dozen which came in two half dozen bundles. I was surpised to find several moldy looking husks surrounding the slightly dry tamales. To be fair only three of the 12 were affected. The flavor was good and other than the spots of mold, the presentation was nice. My dinner date ordered the tamales covered in chili and cheese which i thought tasted great.

The tamales are small to medium size and expensive but for the size they have a lot of meat and flavor. I got the tamale plate that cost $13 and comes with par-boiled rice… not a fan of the rice or the price tag.

I love tamale king! This time it was AWFUL! nachos had two chips soggy, and salty! Asked for taco plate, No beans, no rice!!! Called spoke to manager Heather, (rude) she said it was Gubers, called Gubers they said they gave correct order! I’m very surprised! It’ll be a good while before we order again! $44 wasted!!
