The Take Out has some great ribs, greens, chicken, and sides. Just pull in, walk in, and order up. I usually get the ribs, greens, and green beans. The corn bread is great too. Sweet and moist. The ribs are individual bones served on white bread, eat that bread cuz it’s got all that good flavor. Took a couple pictures of the food before I ate it, so that was a plus on this trip. The folks are great if you got any questions they got the answer. Specials daily, the pork chops are REALLY great. I’ve never gotten a bum meal because they got only good food.

We’ve been ordering from them for a while now and it is always delicious! Fried fish is always wonderful. Another favorite is Angry Strawberry chicken wings. They run out of macaroni and cheese so order early.

Served piping hot with great friendly people the Take Out rocks the affordable and awesome take out restaurant category. The fried catfish was seasoned perfectly and not one speck was greasy, the portions are ginormous (three large filets)…..this is as close to great home cooking you’ll get!!! Great food! I got the Ox tails and they didn’t disappoint. I also got 2 sides. Yams and Mac and Cheese they were also delicious. Food was hot and came with generous portions. Also added 2 drinks and still came to under 20$. Highly recommend

Do not miss the catfish! The banana pudding and apple and peach dump cake were a nice finish. It’s a great reminder of what proper banana pudding should be, creamy, sweet with banana infused flavor deep in the lady fingers.

I’ll start by saying the customer service was great! I enjoyed talking to the lady at the register. She was very helpful. However the food was not matching the customer service. I had the ribs, Mac and cheese and Cajun corn. The ribs were not fresh, they had a slight refrigerator taste to them like they were made the day before. The Mac and cheese is basically some kind of underseasoned cheese sauce mixed with noodles. And the Cajun corn was kind or blah. I had high expectations because of the reviews and people who I know have eaten there. I was disappointed to say the least.

This is the spot. The food is absolutely off the chain, the seasoning is perfect in everything, they know how too and do okra righteous. These collards taste like grandma’s. Everything delivers exactly what your expecting. These oxtails, tender juicy and falling all apart. They aren’t shy with anything either. If you drive by here and ain’t stopped your messing up. Your missing one of the best spots in the city. Period. If my grandma were still with us she would have simply said “now they put they foot in this baby!”

Small business didn’t even know what it was till I had a order there for door dash. Small place but from the look of the food the smell and the orders and people iv seen come in they have a good chance of making something new and different. Chicken and fish was some of the orders I delivered and the looks and smelled amazing. Most the customers I talk to love their food. If your hungry and want to try something new I’d suggest giving this place a try.
