Also this is the second time that they forgot to give me my mango lassi with my takeout order.
Also the takeout samosa burned through the styrofoam cover and we threw away because of the microplastics
Lamb korma tasted good though
However, I am leaving a review solely because of the outstanding service server Diane gave us. Diane is clearly a very experienced, seasoned server when it comes to guest experience in this industry. Her charisma, kind hearted and witty humor, attentiveness and attention to detail to ensure we were taken care of was impeccable and make my night. I found the small gesture of quickly remembering our names and addressing us by our names the entire time to be such a welcoming and thoughtful thing to do that I’ve never experienced anywhere else. She made the dine in experience feel like a family gathering during the holidays. I told my boyfriend to tip well and we showered with compliments. I just wanted to give her recognition formally here!
Thank you Diane and to the entire staff that day. I will continue to recommend Taj of India to others. The owner was very kind and friendly as well!

From the moment we interacted with her, her attitude was dismissive and aggressively rude. We witnessed her treating multiple patrons poorly, but the situation escalated beyond poor service into something far more serious. This employee was openly making inappropriate comments about customers’ personal appearance and, most disturbingly, passing racial comments.
To experience such blatant disrespect and racism—especially while dining at an Indian restaurant—is shocking and unacceptable. This staff member’s actions created a hostile and deeply uncomfortable environment. Customer service was not merely poor; it was nonexistent, warranting a flat 0/5 stars.
As a fellow business owner, I feel compelled to raise this issue directly with the management. Employees are the public face of your brand, and allowing a staff member to treat paying customers with such disrespect and, worse, outright racial prejudice, is a recipe for disaster. The long-term damage to your reputation and, crucially, your repeat business value, will be immense.
I can confirm that neither I nor my friends will ever be visiting your establishment again. I strongly urge the owner to review the staff they are entrusting their business to before this employee drives away every potential repeat customer.
Hope this kindly helps the owner to get staff on board to take care of their customers politely.
I’m mainly leaving this because we got some lamn samosas, and something about them or dipping sauces DESTROYED my tooth enamel, and I am not a sensitive teeth person. I eat ice cream, chew ice cubes, NO problem.
I have been using special toothpaste for this issue and still struggling with high or low temperature foods. Not my front teeth,my MOLARS! Those guys are much more robust usually given their thickness. A warning to anyone else who might consider trying it.
I’m not sure which dipping sauce it was, but it’s like that stuff was packed with corrosive citric or ascorbic acid or something. I am an avid Indian food lover and have enjoyed it my whole life growing up in the UK. This is unheard of in my experience. Watch out!
