We loved the service and ability to watch the aggie game while we ate. The chicharrones deserve a lot of attention; they were delicious!
We also thought the raspberry margaritas were very good, we got the matamoros and classic pastor street tacos and corn cup and we really enjoyed everything.
The salsa was very spicy, I didn’t dare more than a drop and should have asked for a milder salsa. Someone said the pastor was a little salty.
Thank you for a great time. We hope to come back for some of the weeknight deals

Read Google reviews and visited with family for dinner last night. Should have trusted my instincts – almost empty on a Saturday (college move-in) night! The entrance area was a bit funky with a queue/crowd stanchion pole plonked randomly in front of the entrance door and wet floor signs greeting you as you enter. Apart from 3-4 people at the bar and a diner or two elsewhere, the place was empty. Interior was a bit funky too though looked clean. Service at the cash register as well as with the food was friendly and excellent. Food consisting of Queso with chips, Street Corn, Matamoros Street Tacos (Beef and Chicken), Veggie Taco, and Cochinita Pibil Taco (make your own taco) arrived promptly. The chips were cold while the Queso was warm…the Street Corn was runny and flavorless, the pork in the Cochinita Pibil Taco was too salty. The Salsa Station by the drinks stand had runny, flavorless Salsa in the dispensers. The portions were ample, however,
Overall, the experience did not come together as expected. Reminded one of a family-run place that is struggling to make it. Didn’t have the looks of a fully professional set up. Meal with a healthy tip set us back $48; felt it would have been better spent elsewhere, sadly.

Our friends told us about this place so we met them here for dinner. It was our first time we walked from our hotel but it was a bit hidden, overall the guy that took our order was friendly and accommodating. The food was so delicious that we came back for lunch the next day, we got street corn as an appetizer soooo delicious I got no crema ( sour cream ) for dinner which is the pictures. I got the street tacos plate Matamoros style bistec for lunch I got pastor, lunch was just as a delicious as dinner it was pretty empty both times we came in but I guess cause it’s a bit hidden in that shopping square also cause we came during a weekday. The tomatillo salsa was not spicy to me but it was delicious I should have gotten a Serrano for lunch and I forgot. My husband was trying to get Barbacoa tacos for lunch but they were out, the guy at the front was super apologetic which we totally understand he just order carnitas and bistec instead. We will definitely be back for breakfast! Since that’s what we have not tried yet.

I just ran in thinking who can mess up a taco? It was lunch time and only one table was there and the tacos really had very little flavor. I thought the pork would have been cooked in alot of great spices but it was tasteless. The sauces were good but for what I paid I could have had full meal…rice and beans etc. I would definitely pass on this. Oh, place was sticky dirty too.

We got the street tacos and guacamole and thought they were all very good. We were excited to visit a taco place that was in this location. We will definitely be back!

My food was very very salty. I couldn’t even eat it. Someone needs to measure the salt respectfully. I ordered a babacoa taco couldnt even eat it, my other taco a bean and egg sandwich was also salty . You know when you eat too much salt your mouth starts to feel weird that’s how much salt was in my tacos. My third taco bean n cheese was more bearable but truthfully I wouldn’t know since all the salt bothered my taste buds. I am being honest not rude I use to like this place even recommended it. Idk if today was a bad day since it’s been a while that I’ve ate here but I felt someone should know. Sorry hope it’s better in the future.

This has quickly become our favorite Mexican restaurant in BCS. Service is absolutely phenomenal! This time we had the California burrito, a side of refried beans, two volcanes, and chicken fajita nachos. I had the watermelon lemonade and my husband had a fountain drink (they have Boots drinks which are awesome!) The portion sizes are perfect.

Walked in around 10AM to get some work done before my group showed up for our 11:30 Lunch Bunch.
It was dead around 10AM, which was perfect for what I wanted to do. PLUS, I got to work in a truly unique and beautiful space. The decor, the colors, the attention to detail was all superb.
The service was absolutely top-notch and you can tell that they truly care about making your experience awesome.
Even though we had a group of 15 or so, we were all served in a timely manner, everything came out how we asked, and we simply just had a really good time.
Will visit again for work and tacos soon!

First time here. It is mostly tacos from what I saw on the menu. Ordered the El Jefe and two Matamoros Street tacos with fajita meat. You order from a counter and then take a seat and your meal is brought out to you. I don’t like that when you pay at the counter and it asks you to add a tip before you are able to evaluate the service. I selected the 18% which amounted to $3,37 and the only service I received was the food brought to my table. No one checked back or made any attempt to interact with me during the meal.
Your food comes out without any utensils so anything that falls out of your taco you have to pick up and eat with your hands so make sure you wash them. Lol
There is also no salt, pepper, salsa, or napkins on the table. You can go back to the counter to get napkins but I didn’t see any of the other items I mentioned anywhere to be found???
The inside was not really clean and I was the only customer for a while so we’re not too busy. My table needs to be wiped down and there were napkins on the floor at my table.
The Matamores was definitely the star of the show in my dinner plate. They fry the outer tortilla with some type of cheese that gives it a unique and delicious flavor. The fillings are pretty good too.
My three tacos, a soda, and an order of fries were $23.64.
Another issue that irked me was the price of the fries on the menu is $2.95 but on my check it was $3.50?? Not a big deal but I do expect the menu to reflect the actual price you will be charged.
Overall it was not bad but and I am glad I tried them out but don’t think I will be back.
