Went for National Margarita Day, and the drinks and food were amazing! Drinks had just the right amount of alcohol and tacos were so authentic and yummy! First time here and it won’t be my last. Especially, since everything is reasonably priced. Download their mobile app for even more savings!

Authentic tacos, really good price. I tend to get the carne asada on flour tortilla. Their flour is a little better than their corn in my opinion. Have great chips and salsas available. Really good tongue tacos and quesadillas as well. Overall a top taco spot that you can’t miss

I ordered a barbecue and egg breakfast burrito, almost no Barbacoa, mostly egg. I have to say I’m disappointed. The service here is absolutely horrific with the attitudes and unfriendliness of the staff, especially the Hispanic woman in black shirt at the window. The food is OK I wish it was better and the salsas are very good.

The Taco Stand is decent overall, but nothing to get overly excited about. The food is your typical Tex-Mex style, and while it can taste good at times, the consistency just is not always there. Some visits the dishes come out flavorful and well-prepared, and other times they feel rushed or underwhelming. The prices run a bit high for what you get, especially considering the hit-or-miss quality. Service is fine and the customers are okay, but the atmosphere does not really stand out either. It is not a bad place to grab a bite, just not one I would go out of my way for.

Piece of shrimp found in my vegan tacos. This is not the first time this has happen to me so I am leaving a review for awareness. I assume they are cooking the vegan meat in the same place as the regular meat. If not, it’s regardless very negligent on their end. The Taco Stand would be better if more consistent.

The carnitas were far too oily, while both the steak and barbacoa were so heavily salted they were basically inedible. The queso was passable but nothing special.
There’s also an odd service approach here (which I’ve noticed at the burger joint too) that feels… not appropriate for takeout/drive-through orders.
Here’s the thing: in Houston, there are too many excellent taco options to settle for mediocre food. With so much great competition around, there’s no reason to return to a spot.

This was the most disgusting taco I have ever had in my life. I’ve had $1 tacos from a taco truck that tastes 5X better than this. How is this beef fajita? Or carne asada? Dry, greasy meat with no seasoning. This was absolutely horrible. The entire taco tasted like oil. It was gross.. 3 tacos for $14…anyone who says these tacos are good have never had decent tacos in their life. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Certainly one of the best street food options you can get for Taco, Borritos, or Bowls. It lives up to expectations and meat portions are great. I love their pickle bar where they have pickles onions, carrots, and jalapenos. Definitely try it without the fear of regretting haha. My favorite that I ordered multiple times is their barbacoa bowl.

Came here one day on a whim because it’s right next to my HEB, I’m sure glad I did! This place is great, so is that whole strip of restaurants owned by the same people. I love the atmosphere, you can sit inside or outside but I prefer outside and it’s not too noisy or hot. The menu is pretty big and range from tacos, burritos, quesadillas and even vegetarian options. I’ve only had the tacos but I try a new one every time and they have all been delicious! They even have monthly specials , which right now it’s chicken dorados and it’s the best taco my gf has ever had!! Please make this a staple on your menu!! We even went out of our way to tell the wait staff how good it was. Parking is hit or miss , it’s free but limited. I will definitely be back!

I’m lying about the atmosphere because I’ve only ordered from GrubHub but I’d be shocked if the place isn’t cozy and clean. Their prices remind me of the times before we all went insane. Food is awesome, pick jp dine on these giys ate yhe perfect mattox of, quality, quantity and satisfaction. Love them
