By some fluke, I have never had Taco Stand, even though I live in Athens and grew up 30min south of it……I HAVE WASTED TOO MANY YEARS….Don’t make my mistake, try Taco Stand now! So freaking good. My wife talked me into eating here, she’s a huge fan! The Fiesta Sauce and Queso dips are incredible. I was too busy inhaling my food and forgot to get good pics!. I had a Beef and Bean Combo burrito. Top notch! If you read a review claiming the food isn’t good, be careful. People that don’t like Taco Stand steal candy from babies, take up 2 parking spaces, and steal more than one penny from free penny tray. Lol you’ve been warned. Great Burritos, Great Dips!

This Taco Stand is not of the same caliber as the one on Milledge, right off of Prince. While the place is comfortable, the men’s restroom is clean and the service is friendly, the food was mediocre at best, leaving much to be desired. This takes nothing from my conviction that I’d rather have a bad meal here than a good one at Taco Bell. I’ll simply have to drive across town next time I get the craving for a Mexican pizza. Tighten up, guys. You’re being outshined by your sister store.

Not Mexican food, not even Tex-Mex. Thoroughly disappointed with my steak “deluxe burrito”, took four bites to hit steak which was over half the burrito. I wouldn’t eat here again if I was starving. Selling nothing but disappointment here. Better off at Taco Bell across the street.

I ordered a steak quesadilla with cheese and sour cream.
I brought it to my table and noticed it hadn’t been sliced into sections.
I took it up to the pick up area. The cashier pointed to the plastic cutlery area, and said knives were over there. I said no, and asked to have the quesadilla cut. The guy who made it, he too motioned towards the plastic cutlery saying there were knives over there.
I got angry and told him it was better work.
It was laborious. I thought it was lousy customer service. I’ve been there for lunch before, and my friend always orders a quesadilla, which is always cut into sections.
I will make a point to let the owner know of my experience in person. The food is great so I’ll be back.
