The Taco Shop was amazing! We tried the carne asada street tacos and the quesobirria, and both were delicious. The flavors were incredible and everything tasted fresh and perfectly prepared. The quesobirria was especially a standout. We’ll definitely be going back again soon!

Wow just wow! It is so hard to find a good taco shop in Franklin and they do not disappoint! Their Birria tacos are so tender and flavorful. The chorizo tacos are crispy. The salsas alone should be bottled they are so good. 10/10 and definitely coming back.

The Taco Shop is easily my favorite lunch spot. The Birria Pizza is a masterpiece and perfect for sharing with friends. The street tacos are exactly what they should be—authentic and fresh. The staff is great and the food comes out hot. Best hidden gem in Tennessee!

Incredible spot! The owner was up front taking our order. They are a true small business with only two people making most of the food. Everything from scratch and no corners cut, so if you’re trying to come in and out in 5 mins, give them some grace and be patient. The food was amazing. I got a carnitas taco and the beef barria pizza. Highly recommend! We will be back for sure.

This place is legit! Finally great tacos in Franklin Tn! Their Birria tacos (and burritos) are next level. The service is fantastic, prices are great and the owner (Eric) is a kind man!

To be honest, I’m a little surprised by the amount of 5 stars for this restaurant. I’m hoping that means our experience was an isolated one.
We tried this place for the first time on a Friday around lunch rush. When we arrived, most of the tables were full but no one had their food yet. There was one man working the register and another making the food. Bless them both – you could tell they were working their tails off! After we placed our order, the customers behind us were informed it would be at least 20-30 mins before getting their food (as time passed, this increased to an hour). Most people stopped placing orders after us, and the man behind the register was able to help with the food. It took us about 40 mins to receive chips and queso, one burrito, a taco, and mulitas. When the food arrived, it was actually pretty good. Unfortunately, we saw one of the men deliver all the food to many tables, both insides and out, without changing his gloves. Ever.
Of side note, it did not appear the restaurant was really ready to be opened. There were a few beverages in the fridge but no fountain drinks, and the decor was from the previous restaurant.
Overall, I’m not sure that we will return, at least not until the kinks are worked out.
