I saw this place on Facebook and was soo excited to try it. The birria tacos are amazing. One of my favorite places to go now. Parking lot is set up a lil odd and there is seating outside. And one table inside. Which sucks but if your by yourself it’s not too bad. Excited to try the birria pizza next time.

Most incredible tacos! For real. Trikis taco is amazing, burritos are amazing, birria ramen is unreal… get here and be dazzled by their taco artistry. We ate here 2-3/week on our short stay. We will miss you!!

It is best to take your order to go or enjoy your meal outside on their tables – no real inside dining.

What I’ve found about towns and cities is there is either nothing of something, or an abundance of everything- especially when it comes to restaurants; and certainly over time, one must experience their repertoire of food to distinguish which ones are a cut above the rest. The Taco Joint certainly does this with not only outwardly appearance, but interior appeal as well. These certainly add to the flavor of what one tastes and feels. No doubt that they accomplish both exceedingly well!

Awesome! Just like I was back in Texas or even across the border into Mexico.

I had two Old School Tacos, one in chicken and the other pork, and as you can see in the attached pictures, they looked very appetizing!!

Everything tasted fresh, flavor vile, right temperature and most importantly, absolutely delicious.

When I arrived there st a little after 1 pm, there were at least eight or nine vehicles in front of me. And as I paid my bill, there were 4 behind me – very busy but seemed very capable of handling crowds.

I did NOT go into the building, so I cannot attest to the atmosphere, etc. However, everything I could see or the people I interacted with were personable, well groomed, knowledgeable, and all the rest.

Again, BOTH Tacos were excellent!!

DoorDash Lunch Experiment for the Win!

We noticed The Taco Joint, with its eye-catching paint job and taco truck parked in the lot, while driving to our event at the convention center. Food trucks always catch my eye, since they typically have a small, limited menu, allowing them to focus on each item and execute it very well.

If you like spice and want a one-hit wonder for your meal, pick “The Habanero” burrito. The chicken, cooked to perfection without being dried out, is covered with a nicely spicy habanero salsa and other fillings that pair perfectly with the flavors.

For a sampling of the taco offerings, get the Taco Flight Box (I didn’t see this on their website, but it’s listed on DoorDash). It contains 4 tacos: 1 street carnitas, 1 gringo steak, 1 flip taco, and 1 red birria. Each taco was delightful, but my personal favorite was the flip taco. The beans and pickled onions, paired with some very tender al pastor, made it stand out as the winner of the box. (When I’m back in town, I’m destined to order the flip taco, or many flip tacos.)

For a fun appetizer, get the birria-filled Mexican egg rolls. This was the least messy take I’ve had on birria, and the egg roll wrap really soaked up the birria broth as a dipping sauce. They reminded me of mini chimichangas, and sadly, I was too full to really enjoy them by the time I’d sampled all my family’s items and eaten my share of the tacos.

The Taco Joint is one of my favorite taco places in town! Reasonable prices and excellent food, it’s my go-to when I need a quick taco fix. Online ordering and location makes it a great place to order when I need a quick lunch while working downtown.

I recently visited Taco Joint for the first time. My burrito was good, but the portion was significantly smaller compared to a burrito from Chipotle, even though it was more expensive. However, I’ll definitely try out different items on the menu next time.

We used the taco joint for our wedding and got soooo many compliments!! My friend picked up the order and said the guys who loaded the car were so nice and efficient. The food was delicious, easy and made for a stress free meal. I absolutely recommend using them for events if you’re looking to do something fun and different!

I was pleasantly surprised. Sadly, I did not get to have the full experience due to time constraints and having to eat in my car. The food portions were great though. The Habanero Burrito was adequately spicy. Everything was authentic except the chips which were not warm or have any light oil Sheen on them. They appeared to come out of a bag.

I am extremely disappointed that we don’t live in this area. We just ate some of THE BEST tacos de birria we have ever had. The CRUNCH, the CHEESE, the CONSUMÉ I wish I had 2 stomachs so I could have eaten more. $4 each is well worth it. I suggest asking for extra cheese if you like equal meat to cheese ratio. My only complaint or preference is that the music wasn’t family friendly.

Thank you for dinner you guys are amazing!
