If you haven’t tried The Taco Cartel yet, you’re seriously missing out. The food was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor in every bite. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they serve. Everything was prepared perfectly and the truck itself was very clean and well-kept — which always makes a big difference.
And let’s talk about the churros… absolutely amazing. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the perfect amount of sweetness. Easily some of the best I’ve had.

I recently had the chance to try the Taco food truck, and it did not disappoint! The tacos were packed with flavor—fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned meats, and a great balance of textures. I especially loved the walking tacos which had just the right amount of spice and tenderness.
The service was quick and friendly, and the truck itself was clean and well-organized.
Prices were great for the generous portions, and they even offered extra sides without an up-charge.

If you haven’t tried Taco Cartel, you are seriously missing out! I had the absolute BEST nachos and churros of my life, and I don’t say that lightly. The nachos were loaded, fresh, and bursting with flavor in every bite! Oh and the churros, the Churros!? Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly dusted with extra cinnamon sugar just like I love!!!!!
To top it all off, the service was incredible, Christina was super warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They even surprised me with seconds, which totally made my day. You can tell they put heart into everything they serve.
If you see Taco Cartel at an event or pop-up, RUN, don’t walk! I can’t wait to go back.

Where do I even start? This is hands down the best taco truck in the metro Detroit area, with all food cooked with avocado oil and all proteins at the highest quality, with the beef being 90/10 and the birria being freshly slow cooked for 10 hours prior. All the tacos are authentic, topped with fresh onion and cilantro! And, the salsas are all home made fresh for each event! The service is incredible and personable, adding to a genuinely great and feel good experience. They always make sure to accommodate to customers needs. At every event, the line to this truck is double that of those around it! The Taco Cartel truly does rule the streets! I hope it’s in your area soon!
