Folksy outpost offering traditional European cakes, breads, pretzels & strudel, plus light fare.

Once-in-a-lifetime visit to a Swiss bakery? Yes, I did it!
The Cremeschnitte? Legitimately excellent. Light, creamy, perfectly balanced — exactly the kind of thing that makes you briefly consider moving closer.
Now, a gentle cultural observation: when you grow up with very precise Swiss terminology for pastries, you naturally assume the rest of the world operates under the same linguistic treaty. It does not.
Lesson learned: adaptation is everything.
And the prices? Admirably authentic. Switzerland-level authentic. The full immersive experience, including that familiar “ah yes, this feels like home” moment at the register.

The ordering process for food is chaotic. Grab any items you want to buy, get in line, they’ll take your order for baked goods and you order hot foods at the actual checkout register. They’ll give you a number, find a table and then they’ll bring your hot foods to you at the table. You bus your own table.
The Bavarian breakfast is not good. The goulash soup is decent and the currywurst with fries is good. The Berner rosti is ok.

Love! Never eaten better. Service was AMAZING, the food even better, and when Caroline offered to clear our plates I was unable to hear her because I was simply entranced by the atmosphere! Consider me a regular!

Ordered some traditional Swiss cookies online from here and oh my god!!! They were JUST like the ones my mom makes! It was magical. Well packaged and high quality- not a single broken cookie! So grateful for this place even if it’s a thousand miles from home!

Light weekday brunch was great. Counter staff were helpful and the line moved quickly. Croissants were flaky, light, and buttery with a good bite. Almond croissant nicely sweet. Drip coffee was also good. It was busy but the tables do turn over so we didn’t have trouble finding seats for two. ymmv
Looking forward to going back to try more of the menu!

The food at the café was VERY good, and the selection of European bottled drinks was fun. Service was good and the restaurant was clean. My partner and I were both somewhat disappointed by the cakes, but the cheese Danish was to die for.

In light of encouraging reviews, we visited the establishment to find European-style desserts. We were pleased to see a wide assortment of Swiss products on the shelves and displays. We also appreciated the spacious interior and ample seating.
However, we found the coffee to be somewhat diluted for our tastes, and the Swiss Mocha coffee appeared more like sweet chocolate milk than coffee with a hint of chocolate. The caffe latte was similarly watered down. While the coconut cheesecake and chocolate eclair were decent, we didn’t discern the distinctive European dairy flavors we expected. Additionally, the cream in the chocolate eclair seemed partially frozen, resembling more of an ice cream texture, although the chocolate icing on top was quite enjoyable.
Ultimately, if one is seeking Swiss products, this location is well-stocked and has ample parking in the front.

Swiss Bakery is an absolute gem! The selection of Swiss chocolates is phenomenal—not the usual ones you find in the US, but rare treats that offer a delightful and unique experience. This alone makes it worth a visit.
In addition to the chocolates, it’s refreshing to see sustainable and health-focused products from Switzerland, such as their tea selection and muesli. The breads are fantastic, with their Zopf standing out for its authenticity and their Wurzelbrot impressing with its variety of seeds and perfect crust.
However, the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the pastries section. It was visually stunning and tasted just as amazing. Overall, a very worthwhile visit. Highly recommended!

Their desserts are SO GOOD! They’re pricier than some other cafes in the area, but I think it’s worth it. They have a lot of European products for sale and a cozy dining area, as well as outdoor seating. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are all friendly.

Fool me twice, shame on me. This was our second, and last, time trying the Swiss Bakery. The first time we had croissants, which were over cooked, dry, and the chocolate one had almost no chocolate in it. This time we tried cupcakes and a pecan roll. The chocolate cupcake was alright, even though it was half the size yet the same price as the vanilla one. The vanilla cupcake was dense and the frosting tasted like an oily fake butter that even the kids didn’t want to eat. When it came to the pecan roll, they somehow managed to master an undercooked doughy center and a dry outer layer. Truly a disappointment and enough of a pattern to make this a place we won’t be visiting again.
