The perfect day, completed with the perfect desserts.
Every item we tried was moist, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. And the owner is so kind and cool with a touching origin story.
The Rosecakes were TO DIE FOR: white chocolate shell with a moist blueberry-something cake center, give me 14 of em right now. We stopped back 15 minutes later to pick up another Rosecake after tasting them.
My twin sister and I visited to celebrate our birthday before she moved away, and choosing this bakery instead of a traditional cake was the best choice. I’ve followed a sugar-free, non-inflammatory lifestyle for a couple years now, and I’ve dreamed of a bakery like this. If I lived closer I’d be here every week. My sister brought an extra rosecake to her boyfriend back home and he also loved it (and he only eats ‘regular’ desserts)
We spent the afternoon in Ballston Spa on a happiness high from the desserts. Thank you for a great memory, The Sweetish Chef. We’ll be back!

I was very excited about this bakery but the three times I bought items they had a very strong erythritol “bite” to them. That was a year or so ago, and I haven’t been back. I love the concept, though.

So glad I found this place!!! I never write reviews but I was blown away with the options and how tasty everything was. It is amazing to have found a place close to home where someone that has to eat a specific diet due to health issues can enjoy yummy treats. I’m both gluten and sugar free so to have a dessert again and be able to celebrate with everyone else is a great feeling.
I tried the pecan bar and the coffee cake and they were great – even my non gluten and sugar free family members enjoyed them and had no idea there was anything different about them!
Portion sizes were decent, I even froze some of the coffee cake so I can enjoy it at a later date. Prices were fair considering the effort it takes to make treats with these specifications so it’s worth the price. Will definitely be back and now I know where I can go for desserts for special occasions and birthdays!

Really sad to write this review. It’s a lovely place, with an activity for the kids and delightful staff. And I applaud them for making food for those who have to eat outside the box.
But the food is astonishingly expensive and dreadful.
We bought a peanut butter pie with a goopy, gritty texture. Ditched it after the first slice.
And the pumpkin/carrot mini cakes were beautifully decorated, but also gritty and so dense they were hard to swallow. Fifteen people at Thanksgiving all agreed after a brief taste.
A sad way to spend sixty dollars.

Not only is this little place super cute, but the food is delicious! BEST grain-free bagel I’ve ever had. The pecan bar was great, too! The woman at the front was super sweet and helpful. The prices are NOT bad, especially for what they’re offering. I’ll definitely be going back.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!! I have not tried a single item that I didn’t like. Most of the items you’d never even know were low carb/gluten free/ sugar free! I order the peanut butter pie for every holiday and it is a HUGE hit with my whole family. I highly recommend!!

I purchased one of every pastry that they offered for an upcoming event! I couldn’t believe that these bakery items were sugar free! I bought a few for myself to try ahead of time and ever goodie tasted incredible! The portion sizes are so generous that I’m going to cut them into pieces and make a sampler tray so everyone can taste all of the items! Also, their customer service is over the top! I needed my order for Monday and originally they were going to be closed on Sunday. The owner called me and left a message that they were able to find staffing and they would in fact be open! Thank you so much for everything!

I came across with this Bakery and the friendly lady at the counter told me that the pastries are low-carb low-sugar. Exactly what I I’ve been looking for. They are delicious.
