Food was ok. Weezel was mediocre. Not the best slopper I’ve had for sure. I was disappointed after reading how great their slopper was here. Bessemer dog was really disappointing. It was two hotdogs wrapped in a tortilla with cheese and chile and then deep fried. It was hard to eat and didn’t go well together. Service was friendly but unless you were a regular you didn’t get much attention from the staff. Prices were high for what you get.

I really use to love this place. Went in earlier with the family for lunch. I really don’t like to say negative things but the food is not as good as it use to be. The workers are very snooty and i don’t even think they know the definition of service. My husband and son went for karoke later and my husband was saying how hateful one of the bartenders is and she just shouts and talks over you. The crowd was quite out of control and if you like phony people and bad service this is the spot for you.

This place has been here for more than 40 years for a reason– good food, good atmosphere, great prices. They have pool tables, a foosball table, outdoor seating/smoking area, and a jukebox. The owner was kind enough to take a moment and give us a quick history lesson about the place, very interesting. Did I mention great food?

This is a popular place to get a great slopper and bloody Mary. The slopper was very filling with good green chili and the bloody marys were delicious and big. The staff was very friendly. Also there was a lot Colorado sports memorabilia which made me feel right at home. I definitely recommend.

My partner and I stopped by around 1 AM after seeing that this place was listed as being open until 2 AM. Less than five minutes after walking in, we were informed that the kitchen closes at 7:30 PM — a detail that isn’t mentioned anywhere online. It’s incredibly frustrating for obvious reasons. The atmosphere was still pretty lively at that hour, so having the kitchen closed made little sense. If the kitchen hours differ significantly from the posted business hours, that should be clearly communicated. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The staff member who spoke to us was friendly, though.

Great place to go for a burger and beer! It’s a locally owned restaurant -bar that was featured on TV for their sloppers (cheeseburger smothered in green chili). Their Mexican food is pretty good as well. They also have good wings. They have a decent-sized seating area, but the noise level does get loud inside.

One of the renowned places to enjoy a slopper. This one is special in that not only is the cheeseburger smothered in their terrific green chile; it’s so smothered it’s served in a large plastic bowl so you can enjoy every single bit of the magical green sauce. I enjoyed a beef and bean burrito and have to say it has some nice fresh beans. Really enjoyed my visit here and plan to visit again.
