I drive here from the SLP area because my friend works here and I have a pleasant experience every time! I’ve only had the pasta truthfully but I think it’s a great Alfredo sauce; Alfredo can always be a hit or miss. The customers are cool to chat to, it has a small town vibe. I’ve won on pulltabs a couple times and you literally can’t beat the price. The first time dining, I did the half price pasta (always on Mondays) a Moscow mule and two Carbliss and I think my bill was around $25. Definitely beats inner city prices

We made a delightful stop at the Sunset Grill for happy hour, and I have to say, it turned out to be an absolutely fantastic experience! The atmosphere was electric, especially with the sun setting behind us, casting a beautiful glow over the outdoor deck. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, especially during the warmer months, and we were pleased to find ample parking available, which is always a plus.
Our server, Rebekah, truly made the evening special. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and an infectious enthusiasm that set the tone for our visit. She provided exceptional recommendations, clearly knowing the menu inside and out. Rebekah was on top of everything, ensuring that our drinks kept flowing and that we were well taken care of throughout the evening. Her attentive service added a personal touch that made all the difference.
Now, let’s talk about the food! We started with the mini tacos, which were outrageously good. They vanished from our plates in mere seconds, so delicious that we couldn’t help but reach for more. Each bite was bursting with flavor, leaving us wanting even more of that tasty goodness. Following that, we tried the Thai chicken fettuccine, which was an explosion of flavors. The creamy sauce had just the right amount of peanuty goodness that paired perfectly with the tender chicken and fresh veggies; I could easily eat that dish every day!
Of course, we also had the meatballs, which, while a touch on the colder side, still packed a punch in terms of flavor. They were savory and hearty, and they complemented the other dishes nicely.
Overall, our happy hour at Sunset Grill was nothing short of amazing. With the stunning views, delicious food, and exceptional service from Rebekah, it was an evening we won’t soon forget. I can’t wait to return and indulge in those mouth-watering mini tacos and explore more of their delightful menu!

I went on a warm summer day, grabbed a plate of boneless Buffalo wings (delicious!) and took full advantage of their 2-for-1 drinks. The live band—just two guys with serious talent—played an incredible set. Their song choices were spot-on, and they barely took a break, even in the heat. Absolute champs.
The vibe was top-tier—sunshine, good food, cold drinks, and music drifting through the air. The patio overlooks a peaceful little pond, which totally adds to the chill, summery atmosphere.
They’ve also got an indoor bar and pull tabs for that cozy neighborhood dive feel.
Highly recommend for anyone who loves great tunes, a sunny patio, and a plate of wings with a view.

Came to try a new spot with my grandma, she loved the patty melt and wild rice soup. The fish and chips were ok, 2/4 of my fish ‘tenders’ were REALLY over cooked and chewy and you can tell it’s from the fish being a smaller portion, which is fine but don’t fry the smaller ones as long. Establishment got pretty full with only 1 waitress and 1 bartender. You can tell others love this local watering hole for pull tabs and bingo.

The eggs Benedict was delicious, hollindase sauce on point, eggs cooked to perfection. Priced at $14 so very reasonable pricing and filling to eat.
Their blood Mary was meh. It’s a house made mix and I found it to be a little bland.

We met friends here and had lunch. Never had been here before, but we thought we’d try it out. The place is nothing fancy, but there was a beautiful lake view, the waitress really warmed up to our groups humour and the food was plentiful and good. A very fun visit. There is an outside patio as well with an even better view of the lake from there.

They have the best hash browns! Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, not too greasy, not too dry. Definitely worth driving up from St Paul 10/10.

Great atmosphere and food. I loved the burger; simple and to the point. It was cooked perfectly with excellent seasonings. The highlight of the meal was the fries however. Wow. Thin and crispy with a great dusting of flavors. My wife ordered the nachos and we were not impressed; the chicken was quite bland. Skip those and go for the burgers or anything that comes with the fries.

First time visitor. Waitress was super helpful. I couldn’t decide and she recommended the bourbon bacon burger. Was definitely a great choice. My daughters enjoyed their lunches as well. Buffalo mac and cheese and chicken Parmesan both looked delicious and the smell was mesmerizing.
