We’re tourists who had the smoked sausage, egg & cheese biscuit, and the breakfast burrito with fried chicken, egg, and hash brown. 10/10 on both. My husband is a Georgia boy who feels deeply about biscuits, and felt this one was excellent. Coffee very tasty as well! And very friendly service, clean and cozy inside.

The Sunflour Bakery is by far one of the best Breakfast and Lunch restaurants in Cullman, AL. From the delicious pastries, cookies and baked goods, to the sausage balls, gravy and biscuits, and omelets at breakfast to the world class burgers, sandwiches and perfectly cooked thick cut fries at lunch. This place is amazing! The atmosphere is country and casual and the service is phenomenal! Awesome place to eat, Just make sure your hungry because there is enough food for 2 people.

This was the perfect place to grab a delicious breakfast coffee and a pastry on my travels. All of the ladies who work there were super sweet and provided amazing customer service. Most of the suites in the case are baked by the owner herself, which is really cool. The atmosphere is really homey and they have a charming gift section.

I have always loved sunflower bakery.
Placed a carryout order over the phone after glancing over the menu list on their Google. i ordered a bacon cheeseburger w fries & requested it to be cut in half I was told it would be 15-20 mins.
It took 31 mins & on a timed lunch thats no good so I wouldn’t suggest this place for a quick bite. My burger was not cut in half even tho she read the order back to me w my request (no biggie). the quality & size have changed from recent visits. I was not very pleased w the freshness of the meal and the burger is a decent size smaller than it use to be. That being said their pricing continues to increase as the quality & size drop. The prices on their Google page that they are in charge of updating is out of date apparently. My total did not reflect the pricing on the menu + tax. When I brought this up they did not offer to honor the price they have listed. Instead it was basically an our bad response & she said its because the prices have incresed so many times. They do not give you a total over the phone unless you ask & they do not offer you your receipt after paying. Its so sad to see a place that once had a 5 star rating from me now has a 2. Sunflower bakery your customers deserve better from you. These are all easy fixable issues if management would step it up.
Despite my 2 star review im not saying dont eat here just be aware online pricing is inaccurate & service is slow. Its still good food just not great like it always has been.
I will try again later in hopes for a better experience & review again.

We just tried this place for the first time coming from Birmingham going home to Florence. From now on, this is a must stop! I can’t remember the last time I had such high quality breakfast food. I tried the southern pecan coffee and I’m so glad that I did. The biscuits were huge, the pancakes were fluffy, and the bacon was crispy. I got a breakfast plate and in order of pancakes to share with my son and we are taking about 2/3 of it home. We just had so much food. And the girls working today were so nice and welcoming. My little boy seemed to really like the patio, We both really enjoyed the welcoming southern atmosphere.

Awesome breakfast stop just off the interstate and next to a very nice and clean gas station. One of the best biscuits we’ve had. We did take out and it took less than 5 minutes.

Need better hours especially when LOVES TRUCK STOP NEAR. Probably more business if better hours should be closed a day during week cause 1 weekend with extended hours make up for 1 day closed during the week on sales

I am so happy that I found this amazing place. The breakfasts are amazing. I had the Cheese steak omelet and it was so good and huge! The pancakes are the size of the plates themselves and are homemade buttermilk pancakes like my granny used to make. We will for sure be back for their other goodies. If you are in Cullman you need to stop here for breakfast, for sure. Also, make sure to try their Cinnamon Rolls because they are the best, hands down, in and out of town.

The French toast was so delicious. Bacon , egg and cheese on biscuit was amazing . Coffee was fresh too. Our server Allie was excellent . Definitely come back!

Our first time there 7/15/23 got there around 10:15 am crowed. We waited for our food Philly Steak and Cheese Omelets. They were big, filling and awesome. Oh an they use about 5 eggs to make one. And yes we’ll be back for more.
