Cozy spot, though the food takes rather long to arrive for being simple breakfast. The food is of mediocre quality and while the service was fine they did not attend to the table. Prices for base menu items are good though the prices of side items are a bit much.

This place is lovely! I come by fairly often for the Golden Burrito and it never disappoints. Staff is kind, prices are nice, and food is great. I brought my family and they enjoyed it too.

Found this little hidden gem today and had a delicious lunch. We had the clam chowder, Reuben and French dip and were really pleased. The owner makes all the soups from scratch – the clam chowder was the best Ive had in a while. The sandwiches were also yummy. And they make rhubarb crisp with local rhubarb, which I also recommend.

A friend and I stopped in this morning not realizing what a gem we just discovered. We both tried the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and they were amazing. You could tell everything was made from scratch and with love. The price was more than fair and the quality was second to none. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone in our circles. It’s in the heart of Sumner WA and if you blink you’ll miss it, so if you’ve never experienced it, keep your eyes open for this place, and if you have to seek it out do it, cause you will be glad you did.

I had a bowl of Creamy Chicken Tortilla Soup, which is the soup-of-the-day on Wednesdays. It was wonderful! I saw many things on the menu I would like to try! I feel that their prices are very reasonable.
The staff were so welcoming! It was such a lovely experience.

I don’t recommend eating here. The food isn’t anything to write home about, the service was OK, and the coffee had a burnt taste to it. The Frittata tasted like something that was store-bought, frozen then reheated. When the server asked how everything was and we commented on the Frittata the chef came out and said “that’s just how it is. It’s not everyone’s preference.” He was very rude, couldn’t handle feedback, and walked away with no apology or at least comping the dish for the poor quality. You’re better off going somewhere else.

this is a cute little café with very friendly staff and delicious food. i got the club sandwich on sourdough with the pasta salad. the salad was tangy and is not mayonnaise based which was great on a hot day. the sandwich had a good amount of meat, perfect ratio bread to meat/cheese in my opinion. the bread was nice and soft with just enough mayonnaise to give moisture without being too much. i will definitely be back and will need to try some of the delicious sounding desserts.

Cute but slightly hard to find place with lackadaisical service. This is offset by their willingness to let my wife bring some of her own food on account of some severe dietary restrictions she has to deal with. I went to the SC as part of an effort to find the best (in my opinion) biscuits and gravy in the area, and this place is a contender for my top 2. The 2 times I’ve gone up until now, I had a bowl of their rhubarb crisp for a pre-breakfast/brunch appetizer; it’s really good. Their biscuits are flat and dense but delicious, and their gravy is very good too. They confirmed that they don’t use oil in their biscuits, but they do use cow’s milk cream. (I’ve stopped eating the biscuits at Hops N Drops due to the fact they have soybean oil in them.) Next time (and there will be a next time) I go to the SC, I need to remember to take green Tabasco sauce with me; they only have red Tabasco and equivalents (e.g., Tapatío). They add some kind of herb to the top of their fried eggs; I really like that they don’t just serve them up plain. They’d lose a star for their service, but because I was able to have my wife with me there so we could eat with some friends, they get the star back.

They’ve been short of or out entirely of biscuits and rhubarb crisp 2 of the last 3 times I’ve been there, and when I stopped by yesterday, they were unexpectedly closed completely. Taking off a star from the overall rating due to reduced availability of both food and the business itself. Their food is great if they have it; best to call ahead to ensure they do have what you want and to make sure they’re open.

Super adorable place, fun signs around the place add charm. Ordered some BLTs for lunch and they were darn delicious and hit the spot! Both my husband and I were satisfied after we had a craving 🙂 Service was great and polite!
