Very rustic, country farmhouse atmosphere with a long and interesting history! We stopped here for a snack while driving through. Very good pastries! I had a tasty almond croissant and my husband tried something too. I noticed they had some hot breakfast and other sandwiches, salads and such on the menu as well. A good spot to stop for a quick bite to eat. They also sell some little gifts. Friendly service. Relaxing place to sit for a little break.

I’m so glad I stopped by on my way back home. The iced coffee was smooth and not fruity (my preference). The breakfast sandwich was okay – the scrambled egg was overcooked for my taste and the bagel a little too toasted. Otherwise it was tasty. The space is spacious with plenty of places to sit. They have a curated little market so I bought some nectarine, a small watermelon, wine, and tomatillo salsa. Of course it was way more expensive than Shop Rite; however, I like supporting small independent businesses. Definitely visit!

I had high hopes for this place as it’s close by…..We walked in at 11:10 looking for lunch sandwiches. We were told that we “could not” order from the lunch menu until 11:30. We spent the next 20 minutes sitting and staring at the whopping 8 hot items on the menu (4 hot breakfast items, 5 lunch sandwiches, plus pastries/parfaits). Once 11:30 came, we ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. It was pretty clear this was something that was just taken out of the fridge, put in the re-heat oven, and thrown together. There is NO reason they could not have just put this sandwich together in 5 minutes and sent us on our way before 11:30. They didn’t even melt the cheese on a $16 sandwich.
For a place that clearly really works hard on the aesthetic side of things (think “high end countryside” coffee shop vibes), I’m not sure if we were profiled for having dirt on our shoes. I have literally NEVER been to a place that had such a limited menu while telling a customer that they “could not” make something before a certain time. That’s coupled with the 25% mark up on their entire menu.
The sandwich was okay. I’m sure the breakfast is good, and I hope the 3 people working on their laptops are enough to sustain your business. I’ve honestly never had an experience like this at ANY market/deli, and I won’t be back.
TOO CHEAP TO EVEN GIVE YOUR CUSTOMERS CHIPS WITH THEIR $16 SANDWICH? LMAOOOO
EDIT: I’m “so sorry” for inconveniencing you, the owner, for having to read my “epic rant”. It’s funny because the customers behind me were able to get their lunch sandwiches with no questions asked while I had to wait. We only got a sandwich with no “sides”. I never give out negative reviews, but I had a bad experience here and your salty response to my review is noted!!!!!

TL;DR – Charming atmosphere, tragic sandwich
I had high hopes for The Store at Five Corners… it’s close by, it’s beautiful inside, and the vibe immediately makes you want to settle in with a good sandwich and a coffee. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to any of that promise.
We came in excited for lunch and ended up genuinely disappointed. My sandwich was, to put it gently, joyless. The bread wasn’t toasted, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the whole thing felt rushed and cold – the culinary equivalent of being left on “read.” When you’re charging $16 for a sandwich, I don’t think it’s too much to expect basic warmth, texture, or, frankly, care.
The ambiance? Chef’s kiss. The food? Still waiting for the chef’s kiss.
It’s clear they’ve put heart into the space, but the kitchen feels like it missed the memo. I left wishing the food matched the charm, because I really wanted to love this place. Hopefully someday the menu catches up to the vibe – until then, I’ll admire The Store at Five Corners from afar (and grab my next sandwich somewhere that toasts the bread by default).

We stopped in on a whim for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered the egg custard sandwich with bacon. I’d never had an egg custard sandwich before, and I genuinely didn’t know what I’d been missing. If I had to summarize it in one word: wow.
The flavors were simple but perfectly balanced, and the texture was spot on. Highly recommend stopping by for a sandwich if you’re looking for a great meal in a relaxed, casual setting.

My daughter and i were starving and did not know what to expect when we walked in. I ordered the bacon sandwich/ a blt elevated in the best way. The bread was incredible. The special mayo was exactly the right amount and the flavor was a surprise in the best way. But above all else the bacon was the star. This was the best bacon I’ve ever had. Thick and with kind of smoky but subtly sweet taste. This was a perfect sandwich.
My daughter ordered the turkey sandwich and commented that her bread was also delicious. And she enjoyed the turkey and cheese- it was just the highest quality and perfectly portioned.
Hoping to wind up in the area again in the future. Will dream about that BLT for years.
Service so friendly as well and the food was ready surprisingly fast.

Great to see the store reopen and continue to offer a menu that is focused on local products and a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast and lunch are available, we tried the Hummus sandwich but ound too many flavors happening, should have done the build your own version to choose the sourdough. Recommend the Green Bee soda and the local produce.

Great store somewhat out of the way. Great tasty food – a bit slow but makes up for it in taste. Also a bit expensive, but good quality. Highly recommend the baked goods cooked on site daily- very nice place to go in the morning for a scone and coffee. Lots of gluten free options for prepared or on-menu foods. Also a store component selling all types of things- good wine selection, good cheeses, beers, ciders, chips, socks, soap, etc… mostly all local. Very old place as well.

We had a great croissant sandwich here. The hibiscus tea was delicious. Lemon bars were soooo good. Love the atmosphere, old wood beams and wooden tables.

We went to the Five Corners yesterday at noon as it is close to where we are staying. We wanted to buy a sandwich to take with us as we were going to the Norman Rockwell Museum. We asked for a cheese sandwich with Swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber on sourdough bread and we paid $14 for the sandwich. The bread was dry, it included two squares of cheddar cheese and a slice of tomato. No lettuce, no mayonnaise and no cucumber. What a ripoff. We are going back to ask for your money back. Never again
